"Since early in the morning, Lord was eagerly awaiting the return of his daughter. Tonight, he should be happier than anyone else, so why put on a stern face?"
Shen Jingting had noticed that his daughter and her father occasionally exchanged glances, but both were equally stubborn and neither was willing to give in.
Xu Changfeng splashed some hot water over his body, explaining, "She has grown up, and her mind has become more complex." The steam filled the room, and with his hair let down, his rugged face seemed somewhat softened. He sighed and continued, "These seven years, she has been in Yunrang. Regardless of how she has been living there, she must have some resentment towards me."
Shen Jingting gently combed the hair strands, white and dark intermingled. He reassured
"Over these years, you've been thinking of her and planning everything for her. Despite her stubbornness, she's also very clear-headed. She must understand your efforts, even if she doesn't show it."
His hand rested gently on Xu Changfeng's shoulder, tracing a scar that had been there for many years. Under the warm light, his eyes were full of tenderness and a touch of sorrow.
At this moment, another hand reached out, clasping the fair palm in its grasp. The warmth emanating from it made him curl his fingers, and he instinctively leaned in.
The two men kissed gently, the pale hand gliding over the bronzed skin of the other man. After a brief moment of intimate kiss, they separated slightly. As they were about to draw closer again, Shen Jingting recalled something and nudged him "About Jun'er marriage..."
When it came to his daughter's lifelong decision, Xu Changfeng halted and listened as Shen Jingting continued, "Recently, there have been various suitors of marriage candidates, and I've already asked reliable sources to inquire on our behalf. This matter is not urgent, and we should let Jun'er decide for herself. It's a significant decision, and she should be satisfied with the person she chooses."
Xu Changfeng found Shen Jingting's approach reasonable and said, "Thank you for your care in this matter."
Shen Jingting chuckled, "I must say, the Crown Prince of Qi and Jun'er seem well-matched. However, he is a 'xie' and the distance to the Prince's palace is considerable. Otherwise, considering his gentle and kind nature, Jun'er could handle him. If not for these two factors, he would indeed be a suitable match." He sighed lightly, expressing a sense of regret.
Expecting his husband's agreement, Shen Jingting was met with Xu Changfeng silence, followed by the sound of splashing water. The man emerged from the water, his cotton trousers clinging tightly to his legs. Shen Jingting glanced at a particular area, and even though they had been married for years, his face still flushed. He was originally very fair-skinned, but now his cheeks were tinged with a blush, and he seemed somewhat shy.
With just one glance, he easily stirred the hearts of those who saw him."Husband..." Before he could finish his sentence, he was pulled into his embrace. The comb slipped from his hand, and his body pressed against that strong chest.
With slightly lowered eyelids, he anticipated those cotton-like yet extremely warm lips descending onto his mouth.
This kiss was even more passionate than before, lips and tongues entwined, full of desire. The lips that were kissed, though firm, were still tender, causing the man to breathe unevenly as they slowly separated.
Delicate jade-like fingers pointed at the corner of the man's eye, and the back of his hand gently followed the contours, caressing the untouched side of his face.
Shen Jingting's eyes gradually blurred, and he hoarsely asked, "Dear husband, why are you troubled again?"
Then, he gently held that face, pecking those thin lips, softly licking with his tongue, savoring the hot lip. At this moment, that broad hand quietly reached below his waist, gripping the roundness of the buttocks, kneading with varying pressure.
