It was the day of the first date, the first time I've hung out with Matt alone.
Getting out of bed, feeling nervous, I just brushed it off my shoulder.
"Every first date is awkward." Muttering to myself.
Searching through my wardrobe I found the perfect outfit.

After brushing my teeth, and taking my dog, Willow for a walk. So there I was, I through myself onto my white, cozy sofa, eagerly waiting for time to pass by.
Mid watching tv, my phone buzzed.
Matt Hey, do you want me to pick you up?
Oh my, I was suppose to drive their myself but I'm not declining any offers. It will give me more time to talk to him more.

My heart was racing, once again, just because of Matt. After pacing around I heard the door ring.
Shit, he was here.
Opening the door, he brought me flowers. My favourite, tulips.
"Oh my goodness, thank you!" I grinned, taking the flowers over to the kitchen.
He smiled back.
"I saw you liked them, on Instagram."
I laughed.
After we chatted for a while, things started to feel less awkward. As the cafe was going to open, we decided to hop in his car and over.
"Hey, Flo."

"mhm." I smiled blushing, looking down.
He noticed and smiled.
"So, I've got some more tours to finish next week and I wondered if you wanted to be back stage crew." He asked. "So you know, you don't have to wait ages to see anyone of us, if you'd like."
Wait a second, a couple shows a go I was a part of the audience now I'm invited to be a part of their team. I couldn't resist, I was totally in. No way was I gonna say no to that!
"Omg really? Yes!"
We both smiled.
We couldn't stop chatting and laughing throughout the rest of the car ride. Sometimes he even gave me butterflies.
We finally reached the cafe, and he kindly held the door open for me. We exchanged smiles. Inside, we got seated and ordered.
"Hello, what can I get for you two today?." A voice came from behind, it was the waitress.
Matt looked at me holding eye contact.
I held in my giggle as I looked down.
"Hi, can I get a croissant and a regular coffee." He requested.
As she wrote that down, it gave me time to admire Matt. The way he spoke made me flutter.
"And you, miss?."
I didn't get time to think. "Oh, the same, please."
After she wrote it down, she walked off for it to get prepared.
An hour had passed.
As we got up to leave, I grabbed my handbag and I heard a voice from behind me.
"Uhm, Flo." Matt asked.
"Yeah?." I smiled whilst cleaning up the table, turned away from him to make sure my blushing not visible.
"Would you like to come back to mine for a bit.?"
"Sure, I'd loved that." I replied, walked behind out of the cafe, towards the car.
After the car ride
Like a gentlemen, he opened the door for me. I laughed with him, grinning.
Entering the house, I took my shoes off and followed Matt to the living room.
"I hope this doesn't sound weird in a way, but do you want to watch a movie..?" He said it anxious tone, like he thought I didn't want to.
I stood there, holding eye contact
"Listen.. if you don't want to, you can tell me."
I smiled, "of course I do."
After that, we turned the tv on and watched a movie.
He was so engrossed in the movie, but from the corner of my eye I saw his hand.
Moving mine closer, they touched, I had butterflies. Was this going to fast? I didn't care much I just wanted Matt we both knew it.
After watching a couple movies the day was coming to an end.
Getting up going towards my handbag, I heard Matt say, "Uhm, Flo?"
"Yeah." I turned around.
"Want me to take you home?" He inquired, looking over at my eyes."
I gave a nod, and he made his way over.
We strolled towards his car, and he kindly opened the door for me. He was incredibly sweet, and I didn't want the moment to end.
We chatted through the ride all the way, it was amazing.
Parking up at my driveway I was so desperate to get my words out.
Stepping out of the car, I couldn't hold back any longer and blurted out, "Matt?"
"Yes, flo?." He's answered.
"I-I." I stuttered.
Getting out of the car, there was Matt, walking towards me.
In that moment, it felt like everything aligned perfectly as he leaned in and gave me a kiss.
The time had come to fast, but I couldn't help but feel a rush of warmth and excitement.
My heart raced with adrenaline, and I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks, turning them a bright shade of red.
It was the first time we had kissed, and it happened so quickly that it took me by surprise.
The intensity of the moment left me feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.
my heart continued to race long after the kiss had ended.
He waved goodbye as I waved back and he set off.
