"Darling! Are you ready?" A voice called from the dull doorway with various cluttered noises. I couldn't help but giggle at his clumsy actions. Louis appeared through with fringe hanging inside his thick framed glasses, several boxes in hand filled with rusty paint cans and frayed brushes, worn out for years.
"You need a little help there, silly?" I teased, slowly making my way towards his unbalanced stance. He slightly laughed, a mixture of a sarcastic huff and a goofy guffaw, knowing I was mocking him. Without further hesitation, I followed him, picking up the trail of a mess he'd left. Right at his tail, he set down the many boxes on a wooden table laid out by the large plain window. I loosely propped the brushes back into one of the boxes and began to prepare myself for our messy project. I peered over to Louis who was undoing the little knot he had tied with his hoodie with the white strings of his jacket and unveiling his unimaginably huge biceps. His arm muscles never ceased to amaze me. He never looked like this anymore, so comfortably casual and loose. I gazed at him longer than I should have.
"Jenna, are you sure you want to paint this room today? I thought we were going out for some tea!" Louis' childish yelp interrupted my daydreams. He stared at me with indolent eyes, not quite focusing on my surroundings.
"Wait, what?" I looked into his eyes, framed with a pair of rectangular glasses. I missed this Louis. He drew closer, reaching out to my waist and pulling me into his embrace. The way he snaked his arms around my figure and how he tenderly pulls me closer, I felt weak in the knees.
"You okay?" He began, "I know I'm quite breathtaking but we need to get this done!" I pulled back from his chest and jokingly shoved him aside to find the drop cloths and masking tape. He was such a sassy princess. I could feel the same pair of arms settle themselves at my hips and two hands, slightly larger than mine, interlocked at my abdomen. His chin rested on my shoulder as I busily fiddled with the box of equipment.
"Okay, for this room, I think I want it just plain white. We just need to make a few adjustments," I flicked my eyes to my side and found Louis' face. He was frowning like he didn't like my idea. Lifting up the frayed brush I had in hand, I drew it across his nose, resulting in him wrinkling his nose in disgust.
"What's the matter, Louis?" I emphasized my lower lip, pouting. He chuckled, moving the fringe away from his eyes and shaking his head slightly. Adverting my eyes, he stared out the glossy window pane. I continued to beg, "C'mon, tell me, you ninny!"
He smirked and stepped aside to unbox the rest of the paint cans. Holding a small can of solid blue paint, he pulled off the lid and it made a small pop.
"What are you doing.." I questioned with concern in my voice. I widened my eyes as soon as he drew closer and I drew backward on my heels. My breathing started to become even more uneven as he dipped his fingers gingerly into the small can. "Louis Tomlinson, don't you dare," He dropped the can and let it spill all over the spread out tarp. Thank God I spread it out beforehand.
He took another step closer, leaving me leaning my back against the wall behind me. The blue paint splattered from his fingertips, dripping and creating a sloppy mess. Joining both his hands together he lathered the gluey mixture in and all around his fingers. I shut my eyes as he let out a yell and dashed toward me, trapping me with his blue palms on the wall and above my head.
"Louis!" I gasped looking at his stuck hands, small splashes marked on the bare wall. I faced him to see a big fat smirk on his face.
"I just thought this room needed some color," he leaned in to kiss me. Chuckling into his lips, I pulled back and wiped the excess paint off his hands that were still stuck onto the wall.
"I think you do, too," I smiled and grabbed his cheeks, applying a nice layer of blue paint onto his God-like face before kissing his sweet lips again.

A/N: I'm not sure if I should continue doing one shots since I'm constantly having writers' block. Tell me what you think. x
