The First Meeting

Rina's POV

'RIINGG RINNGG...' I really hate getting up early. I had to get up at 6am cause i knew Mikoto would be late and we had 3 hours to get there,and 2 of them are driving to there. I got ready and went to eat,my parents were there which surprised me cause we usually don't have breakfast together and it was really early (around 6:30).

"Morning" I said. "Morning" they said back.
"Are you ready?" my mum asked.
"Yeah."
"You're not mad because of this,are you?" my dad asked.
"No,it's fine. I'm used to it." I mumbled the last part.
"What did you say?" "Nothing."
"Well I'm ready, I guess I'll be going." I said.
"We'll see you when you have some break or something like that." my mum said.
"I'll be looking forward to it." I said as I was getting my stuff and saying goodbye. "Oh and tell Hina I'm sorry I couldn't wait for her to get up."
And I left.

'Omg this Mikoto is so late, even though I called him so many times' I thought.
"Hey sorry I'm late!" Mikoto said while running.
"Yeah no worries, just that WE ARE GOING TO BE SO LATE" I screamed at him.
We got in the car and drove off.
When we got there it was already 9:17 and we were supposed to be here 17 minutes ago. We were running to the courts and I saw a lot of kids our age and older already standing there.
'Oh crap,we're late and there's also some really tall guy,guess he's some coach'. We finally reached them.

"Sorry we're late,this guy couldn't get up." I said as we both apologised.
"I'm really sorry mister it won't happen again." said Mikoto.
"It's fine. You must be Rina,and this is.." "Mikoto" "Mikoto,nice to meet you two, I'm one of your coaches Itaru Saitō. You can stay as long as you have a ball." said Saitō.
"I'm sorry,a ball?" I asked confused.
He explained how we needed a ball cause of a big number of attenders.
"Well I guess we came for nothing. Let's go Mikoto." I said while turning around.
"Wait a second Rina, I really want to stay here.." he said.
"Too bad, let's go."
I started walking and when I saw that he wasn't going I turned around.
"Thank you so much Kin-chan!" said Mikoto. "No problem!" said the guy with red hair and animal printed shirt.
"Look Rina we can stay!!" shouted Mikoto as he throwers one ball at me. I caught it. "Come on Rina say thank you to Kin-chan." said Mikoto to me like I was some kind of a little kid.
"Thanks."
"Well now that you have a ball you can stay, I'm looking forward to it." said coach. "Now form pairs,anyone is fine."
You would expect me and Mikoto to be together but no, we didn't want to, we went to look for someone else to play.
Everyone already formed pairs,I heard there was even a Golden Pair here but I didn't care. I saw a guy with glasses he had a Seigaku uniform so I went over to him, he seemed interesting to play with.
"Hey, you wanna be my pair?" I asked him. He looked shocked at first, and a lot of them were surprised that I asked him. Well not that I care.
"Yeah, sure." he said.
"My name's Rina Suoh, nice to meet you." I introduced myself.
"Inui Sadaharu, likewise."

"Now you will be playing against each other, the ones that lose will no longer be in the Camp." announced the coach.
A lot of them were saying it wasn't fair and that they won't do it.
"The ones that don't participate will also be disqualified." coach said.
I already liked this coach, and this kind of stuff like playing against your friends and all is genius. There were some of them that didn't have a problem playing against each other, but there were the ones that did.

'This will be interesting.' I thought.
