Never Too Late For Love

Now we're in the present.
It's late at night and I suddenly start hearing voices in the outside corridor, the loudest being distressed and panting. One of the most distinguishable people I have ever met walks in and jumps on top of me.

"No one's in the way this time." He pulls me up by my chin, unbuckling my hands in the process. I feel his breath hit my face and we both ask ourselves if this was really happening. I pull him further up and kiss him. We both pull away quickly and press our foreheads together.

He chuckles with joy. Chris is such a perfect man. I rub his neck with my thumb and we wrap our arms around each other, we didn't see how it was meant to be before.

"My love, I want to live and die with you. I see that we're in an obscure place but I promise to stay with you. Till death do us part." He whispers to me and I roll around so he's now on the bed.
"God how'd I pull myself such an attractive and romantic guy?" He snogs me passionately, me doing the same back, loving every single second of it.

Tonight was the night I died. Many people die everyday, but not many have a lover who died alongside them. We got together at 10pm and passed at 1am. He took the same shot. He is like no other.
