On May 25th, 2020, George Floyd was murdered by two police officers after he was allegedly charged with using a counterfeit bill. This was then followed by other black citizens, featuring Elijah McClain and Brennon Taylor, and today some get criticized and seen as a threat. School pupil Isla witnessed these cases and wondered why people are treated differently because of how they looked. Despite not meeting a black citizen, she was eager to show that race doesn't matter, and goes by a quote from the late Martin Luther King Jr which followed:
'I look to a day when people will not be judged by the colour of their skin, but by the content of their character'.
