Mei, now no longer herself, brought down bolts of red lightning. Eternal ignored the ones that missed him and blocked the ones that managed to struck his body.
Thanks for the cloak, Eternal also uses it as protection if the situation calls for it. Mei has a Herrscher core within her body, Both Diend and Eternal know that. It's true that it's just a fragment of a once full Herrcher core, but that doesn't mean it should be underestimated.
"She's still in Phase 2." Diend walked forward slightly, addressing Mei's Herrscher awakening process.
"The kid has just awakened her powers, so it shouldn't be a big of a deal." Eternal added.
Mei didn't wait long and took the first step. Attacking with a rush attack, The Shinzan Strike, she gave Eternal an unrelenting judgment of the divine thunder.
Sparks flew all over his armour as he took major damage. Almost out of breath, he look to the side and saw his summoner was no longer next to him.
The Treasure hunter had already taken a safe spot from the attack while Eternal took all the blow for himself.
"Asshole..." He cursed silently.
Mei then took another step further and does the same flurry attack. Only this time, Eternal had anticipate and rolled to the side.
ACCEL! MAXIMUM DRIVE!
One way to race Mei in a battle of speed is to play at her own game. Trigger is the perfect Gaiamemory for that. The sound of a motorbike engine being gassed roars with exhaust smoke coming out from between Eternal's armor.
Their speed was amazing. Traces of red and blue lines colored the entire room like disco lights. The sound of iron rubbing against each other was excruciating. Eternal's blade, and Mei's katana, clashed against each other in a fast-paced battle.
A single spark determines the end of the fight battle. The two fighters were pushed to opposite sides. Eternal flicked his wrist, and Mei looked out of breath.
"Strange... and sad." Eternal thought.
A Herrscher should be a god, or at the same level as someone who is called a god. They hold the power to change the structure and rules of the world beyond human logic and common sense.
But here he stood; looking at Mei, the Herrscher of Thunder herself, out of breath from their fierce fight.
"I sense conflict in you." Eternal said to the tired, so-called Herrscher.
"What?" Mei snarled.
"You, Mei Raiden, haven't fully accepted your true potential." He gave a thumbs down. Much of a disappointment.
Mei staggered. Is it true? There's no way! It's impossible! She has accepted her true self, her suppressed power. The secret she's been holding for years--!
No... No, there's something else. Her thoughts went back to her still unconscious friends. Were they the ones who limits her from obtaining true power?
"You think too much."
FINAL ATTACKRIDE! D-D-D-DIEND!
Before she could react, Mei was sent flying forward towards Eternal. She felt stinging pain and heatwaves coming from behind.
