After about a month of officially being together, Sarang and Taehyung began going out in public together. At first Sarang was sceptical but Taehyung had insisted that it would all be okay. And it was, they were still careful and tried their best to hide even though they were both easy to recognise, Taehyung more than Sarang. They had been close to being caught a few times and were advised by YoonMin to try and be more discreet.
"But you two go out without being discreet!" Taehyung whined.
"Because if people see them, they'll just think they're out as friends. It's the most rational thought since they're both members of the same group." Sarang explained to him.
"Yeah, plus Korea is super homophobic. So as much as it sucks, no one would really suspect a thing." Jimin said.
"Just say she's your cousin." Yoongi said. "Actually no, if you do that people will think you're weird if anyone catches you kissing or even holding hands in public."
"He has a point, but the company isn't against dating or anything. You wouldn't get in trouble, you'd just get your privacy invaded." Jimin pointed out.
"You're right. Just avoid the questions if there are any. I've seen a lot of Weverse posts and comments of people asking. I've just been avoiding them." Taehyung said.
"You could do what Heeseung and Kwanmin do, occasionally they go out with a third person to make things seem more friendly." Jimin suggested.
"That's not a bad idea." Sarang and Yoongi said at the same time.
"You two do that a lot and it's getting weird." Taehyung said. "But it really isn't a bad idea." He thought about it a little more. "Wait, you can both come with us at some point to make it die down. Or Sarang can go out with Jimin to do something so people see she doesn't just go out with just me."
"That's the smartest thing to ever come out of your mouth." Yoongi commented, making Sarang giggle.
"I'm in, I've been meaning to go out with you." Jimin said, pointing his finger at Sarang.
The rotation began, one day out of the week, Sarang would go out with either Jimin or Hoseok and then she and Taehyung would have their regularly planned dates. Occasionally they would go out with Jungkook and Namjoon as well for there to be a variety of people with Sarang. There were still some people who speculated Sarang and Taehyung were a thing but there were ARMY who would shut them down. There were comments like:
'Who cares if he and the dancer are dating. He's a grown man and can do what he wants.' 'We've been over this, he's with Jennie.' 'Who's the girl in the pictures?' 'They're obviously trying to cover it up by hanging out with other people. None of them hang out unless both Tae and the girl are there.' 'There's two girls?'
Some days, other dancers would hang out with them to try and help but it was no use. Too many people were so sure that Taehyung and Sarang were together, even if all they referred to her as was "the dancer" or "the girl". There were even some people who thought she and Hoshi were together because of their dance chemistry in a performance video. It was frustrating but at the same time there was not much they could do. If they denied the rumours, it would come back to bite them if they ever decided to announce that they were together. If they admitted to it, people would be involved and invested in their relationship when it was none of their concern.
"It's still too soon to say anything, or do you think we should?" Taehyung asked Sarang.
"We've only been together two months, I think we should at least wait until three. Minimum." Sarang spoke, "And even that seems way too soon."
"What do we do? It's hard to ignore it when everyone wants to comment on lives or posts." Taehyung sighed.
"How about not saying anything but not trying to hide it anymore either?" Sarang suggested.
"What do you mean?" He asked, looking up from his plate and drawing his attention to his girlfriend.
"We just go out but don't say anything, let people believe what they want. I'm tired of having to go out with a third, fourth and fifth person." She reasoned. "We don't get in trouble and get to live normally. Well, maybe not normal but you get what I mean."
"I can get behind that. So let's go out tomorrow night. On a normal date, like normal people. No hiding, but yes to security." He said. "I'm all for taking risks but not risking our lives."
"You're actually down?" Sarang asked, slightly surprised.
"Of course, I want to be able to go out with my girlfriend and not have to worry about what I'm doing." Taehyung reassured her. "I don't like not being able to hold your hand in public."
"Same here, it gets so lonely and sad." Sarang admitted as well.
"Poor baby. Tomorrow, we officially go rogue."
"Rogue?" Sarang asked with a small laugh in her tone.
"Just go with it, it sounds cool." Taehyung rolled his eyes playfully.
"Rogue it is." She complied, planting a small peck on his forehead.

Taehyung and Sarang had decided where they wanted to go out. They had come to the mutual agreement that they would go to a busy hot pot restaurant just to stir up comments and conversation. Jimin and Jungkook had gone there a few days prior and had said that many army had seen them and were taking pictures of them. It was sad, but a perfect plan.
"Are you ready?" Sarang asked.
"Yes, of course. Are you?" Taehyung asked back, pulling his jacket on.
"Obviously, this was technically my idea anyway." Sarang sassed playfully.
"No it wasn't, it was my idea born out of yours."
"Same thing, now let's go." She said impatiently.
The two locked hands and walked to the popular hot pot restaurant as it was relatively close. They could see younger girls giggle and others whispering. Taehyung and Sarang simply shrugged it off and kept walking. There were about two or three people who took pictures and began to follow them.
"Do you think people try to be discreet or that they just do things?" Sarang asked, genuinely curious as to if people even tried.
"Maybe they try but aren't very good at being sneaky." Taehyung shrugged. "Maybe they're like us and simply don't care." He smiled at her, planting a small kiss on her forehead.
"Bold move." Sarang said as she pulled his hand so he'd stand closer to her. "But kiss me for real." She said while she stopped walking. Taehyung smiled at her and placed a longer but still quick kiss on her lips before he began walking again.
"You're the bold one." He corrected.
"But you love me like this."
"I love you in every way." He said. But he contradicted himself by pulling her into an empty alleyway opening. "But I don't think it'd be too appropriate to show you physically while we're out in public, now would it?" He had her trapped between himself and the wall of a building.
"Isn't a kiss still considered physical?" Sarang asked, looking up at him, seemingly unphased by the move he made on her. She rested her hand behind his neck and put small pressure to bring his face closer to hers. "Or are you considering that inappropriate too?"
"You want to play this game?" Taehyung asked with a mischievous look on his face.
"I think it'd be very fun." She teased, speaking with her mouth directly on his. He couldn't help but smile, kissing her more intensely than he had previously.
"Let's go." He said, taking her hand again and walking to their date spot for the night.
