Chapter 21: My love, mine all mine.

3 weeks passed had and Frida was released soon after the incident. Benny hadn't spoken to any of them since then, stropping around the house. Anni-Frid supposed she should be somewhat grateful, after all, he did let she and Ruzzo stay for a few weeks.

Mona was coming home soon, she knew that, and it made Lyngstad incredibly nervous; being around your ex-husband's affair partner... but she'd try to be civil for the children's sake.

Ruzzo had informed Frida of his worsening condition, and the woman was heartbroken. They didn't know how long he would be with them for, but prayed he would be able to meet the child.

Stretching, Anni-Frid opened her green eyes, lying on the chest of Mr. Ruzzo Reuss. "Good morning." They said at the same time, laughing quietly together.
"I best get up, it's already pretty late." The brunette smiled lazily, tugging off the duvet and making her way towards the shower. Seeing this, Ruzzo lept up, clearly worried. "I'll be fine." Frida smiled weakly, thinking back to what happened a few weeks ago. Though they had never expected a baby of their own, the couple were overjoyed - though very nervous considering it was becoming more and more likely that Anni-Frid would have to raise the baby on her own. It wasn't the prospect of being a single mother that frightened Frida (she had done it twice before, even with babies involved) but it was the fact their child would realistically not be able to meet their father.

"I don't want to risk it, I'll just stay with you while you're in there." He shifted nervously, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Okay, but I promise you we'll be fine." The woman looked into his eyes, a hand rubbing her 12 week old bump. A while later they decided to tell Ludvig, and boy oh boy, how chaotic that decision would turn out to be!

Leo had been silently hinting that they should let the 4 year old boy know soon, as he could tell his little brother was becoming increasingly worried. So, Ruzzo and Frid decided to let the youngest Andersson know about the baby.
"Ludvig, I have to tell you something." She sat down, patting the space next to her. Ruzzo was there too, but as he did not know Luddie well, he chose to take a step back in this intense.
"What?"
"Well... it turns out I'm having a baby." Frida grinned, chuckling when she saw his confused face.
"Why?" Ludvig asked, white-blonde eyebrows furrowed.
"Because that is what my body decided to do." She blushed awkwardly.
"But your body already decided to have 5 children!" The boy pointed out. Unsure how to respond to this, Frid could only blink while she tried to form a response. "My auntie Lillebil says she doesn't know how you cope with them all." Ruzzo glanced at his girlfriend in shock, but didn't say a work. With clenched fists, Miss Lyngstad replied,"Your auntie is a- politely, she  can mind her own business. I'm perfectly happy with each and every one of my children." The brunette frowned, though inside it felt as though she was being punched in the stomach.

It really was none of Lillebil's business...

"Frida, my auntie says people like you need to learn about protection. What kind of protection? Does someone want to hurt you?" He was looking at her with such an earnest seriousness that she had to beam. "No, I'll be alright. For the record, I was a reckless teenager with Hans, and Lotta and Kasper were planned! The others were just happy little accide-"
"Darling, a child." Ruzzo said loudly, interrupting her slightly thoughtless rambles.
"Right, ignore me Ludvig."

At that point Verity entered the kitchen, getting some cereal out of the cupboard. "Morning Mamma, Ruzzo, Boy." The blonde sniffed. Frida rolled her eyes. Boy indeed.
"Morning Ver." Ruzzo replied, turning to nod at his stepdaughter.
"Ver, Ver! Frida's having a baby!" Luddie said loudly, his face sour.
"I know." The girl rolled her eyes, sitting down next to her mother. "I think it's a boy."
"Me too!" Ludvig was constantly trying to gain the respect and love of his older siblings, even though they mostly ignored him.
