3rd pov: It's was the afternoon, and the perron was outside in the backyard. Harper was running around with some of her sisters, Cindy was by Sadie's grave, and it started to rain
It was the middle of the night, and Andrea was in her room fast asleep as she woke up and saw the same cat on her bed with the same democratic eyes behind it.
As she started to scream, and that made the whole house hold to wake up. Carolyn and Roger rush to Andrea, and they see Harper already at the doorway. Looks in to see the bed's empty. Eyes shift looking for his daughter, but areas of the room are swallowed in darkness.
"Andrea...?" Roger says, looking for his daughter Carolyn joins him. Roger hits the switch on the wall, shedding light on Andrea, who's curled up in a corner, hyperventilating with fear. The tears are flowing as she stares at her bed. Harper walks to her sister and pulls her into a hug.
Harper stayed by Andrea side until Christine asked to stay with her until she fell asleep. After Christine fell asleep, Harper kissed her forehead and left the room, and walked back to her parents' bedroom.
" Hey, I'm gonna go to bed before Cindy finds out I'm not in bed..." Harper says to her parents while she stands in the doorway of their bedroom. " Okay, honey. We will take care of Andrea." Carolyn said to Harper, who looks at Andrea fast asleep on their bed.
Roger looks at Carolyn and then back at Andrea. "Demons peering in through windows, cold spots, doors rattling, voices... Everyone was fine until you started putting all this scared, city-girl bullshit in their heads."
As Carolyn looks at Roger with concern about what is happening to them and their kids. " No, I haven't. There's something wrong with this place. "
"Then how come I haven't seen it?" Roger said, looking at Carolyn, who was confused about how he hadn't seen anything weird about the place its only been her and their daughters. "I'm scared to death, Roger. We need to get someone out here, a priest or someone."
" And what are they gonna do?" Roger said, trying so hard not to wake up Andrea. "I don't know, whatever they do..." Carolyn said, also trying so hard not to wake up their daughter.
Roger's asleep on one of two sofas that face each other in front of the fireplace, that's glowing red from embers. There's a coffee table between the sofas with a half empty bottle of scotch.
A nearby TV is fuzzy white, that is, until something dark, ominous, crosses in front of it. Roger awakens. Sits up. Rubs his groggy eyes, then rises. Goes to the TV. Just as he turns off the TV, he hears the low creaking sound of a door opening.
He heads to the hallway to investigate. As he passes a grandfather clock, the time reads: 5:15. Roger wakes up and just comes into the hallway.
He sees the kitchen door closing shut. As he moves toward it, it starts to BANG against the door jam in bursts of three. Bangbangbang. Bangbangbang. Roger's mind is racing. "What the hell?" Roger said as the banging stops the minute he gets to the door.
The house falls into an awful silence. He opens the kitchen door and looks inside.
A night-light cascading from a socket next to the sink kicks out enough glow to see that no one's in there. A soft breeze coming in through the kitchen window caresses the curtains. His mind settles that must've been it.

It was the next night, and the girls were doing homework. Harper was doing her Spanish homework, and she heard a huge sound in her closet. She was in her room by herself cause Cindy was in the kitchen with her mother doing homework.
Harper slowly got up, and when she got to the closet, the noise stopped. Then something grabs her leg and pulls her to a hole in the floor. As she is screaming for someone to help.
Carolyn hears her daughter screaming and runs up to her room. Everyone who is in the house ran to Cindy and Harper's room to see Harper in a corner. Crying her face was pale, but it was even more pale than usual. Carolyn goes to grab her hand, but she stepped away from her to realize it was her mom.
"Harper, Honey, are you alright?" Carolyn said, looking at her daughter, who had a pale face. " I saw democratic eyes and a lady with a white dress. She kept saying 'come with me ' and she dragged me to the floor."
Carolyn looks at her other daughters, and they them to go to bed and tell Cindy to some water so Harper can drink it.
... Three months later ...
All the sisters wanted their mom to play a game with them. They all explained to there mom the game and it's was simple, it's hide and seek but the person who is seeking get to ask the people who is hiding to clap they only have three claps to find everyone. Carolyn was the seeker, and the girls were the hiders.
Cindy was in her parents' room. April was in the laundry room. Christine was in the living room, and Harper with Andrea was in the kitchen. Nancy was in the closet by the kitchen. Carolyn had only one more clap left until everyone came out of their hiding places.
Carolyn was in one of the girl's rooms and heard a clap in the closet. She goes to check until she tells the girls to clap, and someone claps right on her ear, and she screams, making all the girls run up to where she was.
Harper looks at her mom, " You okay?" Carolyn looks at them then says,"Who wants ice cream?" As everyone got in the car and they were almost at the ice cream place as Carolyn looks over to April and says, "April, honey? Why would you scare mommy like that?" April looks at Carolyn as she said."I didn't, I was in the laundry room the whole time."
Nancy then starts to speak up, "Maybe it was Rory, who also wanted to play with us." Carolyn looked at Harper for an explanation. "Rory is a kid spirit in the house or a made-up friend the girls made up, but maybe it was just Rory playing tricks on you, mom."
"Yeah, we have been playing with Rory since we moved into the house," Cindy says as all the girls nods agreeing with Cindy.
After the family got ice cream, they went to the park cause Carolyn needed some fresh air. Then they went back to the house, and they saw Roger's car there. "Hey, Dad! How was work?" Andrea says to Roger, who was drinking a coffee. " Hey girls. How was ice cream?"How did you know we got ice cream?" As Roger looks at April, who had chocolate ice cream all over her shirt," that's why."
"Well, it was amazing!" April says,"That's great, and Andrea work was good today." As Andrea smiles, the family starts playing board games until it falls into the nighttime.
That same night, the girls' beds were shaking. Everyone couldn't sleep that night...
