"This is it" said Julie, she grabbed Lexi's hand as they gazed at the large university building in front of them.
They had different schedules and classes, but they would try and stay together as much as possible.
Lexi enjoyed history, specifically the rock and ice ages. Before human were fully evolved and they used old techniques and tools.
Julie on the other hand wanted to be a biologist, focusing on plants and their properties. While their intents were completely different, they couldn't be separated.
"I know, from now on, we are full grown women." Lexi said as she tugged Julie forward towards the double doors.
"Wait, we have to savor the moment, who knows if it could be last time." Julie said. She was a bit iffy about getting old. Lexi on the other hand couldn't care less and welcomed the ideas of one day became too old to move or talk.
"Or, get this Julie, we could just go in, get it over and done with, then get back to our apartment and have a marvel marathon while eating a bunch of ice cream." Suggested Lexi who was already tugging her hand out of Julie's hold and stepping towards the already opened doors.
She turned around to face Julie, "c'mon we don't have all day" she said.
Julie smiled Lexi before grabbing her hand again and walking into the doors.
As they took their first step into the building they both were tugged forwards forcefully. Sending them both plummeting towards the ground.
"Ouch" Julie said, sweeping her strawberry blonde hair out of her face. As she made her way to stand up she heard Lexi gasp.
"Julie," Lexi said, gearing up filling her voice.
"Lexi" Julie mocked before throwing her hair out of her face and looking up.
They were not in university building.
They were in a dense green forest. Big trees surrounded them with no clear end.
"Where are we," Julie asked.
"Why to state the obvious Jules,"
"I'm sorry, I'm stressed."
"No I am too, do you think we have transfured to a new world or something,"
"Like marvel or more like those anime's."
"Honestly Jules, I have no idea"
"Ok, first rule of survival, water."
"Right, so be quite so we can hear any water,"
Both girls were quiet. But, all they heard were the birds song and whistle of the wind in the leaves.
Suddenly, they heard the snap of a stick breaking. They shared a glance and thought the exact same thing 'run' and so they did.
