BEOMGYU POV

Haneul gestured me forward first as she brought me into the circle. Saying I was scared was an understatement... "이제 제가 무엇을 하기로 되어 있나요?" (What am I supposed to do now ?), I asked this as she smiled as she places my hands on either side of the fountain. "Relax, Beomgyu ya. This task isn't difficult. All you're required to do is submerge your face in the fountain..."

The fountain was regarded as passageway to the spiritual realm. The realm where magic first began before magical beings either created our our place or stayed in the mortal world. "Is this really necessary ?" Haneul grinned as she gently caressed my hair in a way reminiscent of how Soobin hyung treated me. It was comforting. "꼭 필요한 거예요, 범규야. 저만 믿어요. 후회는 하나도 없을 거예요." (It is absolutely necessary, Beomgyu ya. Trust me. You won't regret a single thing.)

I too a deep breath as I submerged my face into the fountain. I was wistfully transported. I stood now before a massive multicolored phoenix. I instantly based off aura alone was brought to my knees. "Rise, Child. I have been expecting you," the phoenix demanded as it took on a seemingly more human form. 

"Who are you ? What is this place ?" I asked this intrigued & terrified. I have never heard anything about this. "걱정하지 마, 범규야. 이건 영적인 영역이야. 내 이름은 닉스야. 내 타이틀은 위대한 봉황의 정령들." (Do not worry, Beomgyu ya. This is the spiritual realm. My name's Nix. My title is the great phoenix overlord of spirits.) I bowed once more as I thought it over. "Is this realm for mortals or magical beings ?" 

Nix gave a small smile as he corrected me politely. "For magical beings, Beomgyu ya. The mortal spirit realm is governed by my sister Skye..." I began to explain why I had come to see him, but Nix stopped me. It seemed he already knew why I was here.

Nix handed me a slice of a starfruit that had an unrealistic glow to it. "What am I to do with this ? Will this do something ?" Nix nodded as he gently gestured for me to eat the starfruit. I put the sweet fruit on my tongue as I closed my eyes. When I opened my eyes once more I glowed green & the world around me wasn't the spirit realm anymore. I was looking over everything from a cloud. 

"여기는 어떤 곳인가요?" (What is this place ?), I ask this once again as I finally take notice to Nix sniffling. Had he been crying for a few minutes now ? Why would he be crying ? "This place is called Cluster... Home of the Star People. One of the first beings with a natural talent to magic & the most unknown..." 

"Why would the starfruit bring me here ? Was this intentional ?" I ask as I looked at Nix. I am ultimately confused. He nodded as he seemingly glanced at his watch, "It was intentional, Beomgyu. The starfruit only works fully on Star People... It brought you to your beginning..."

I remember nothing after that. Darkness. All I heard was this gentle ringing...
