CHAPTER 3

I was on my study when suddenly a knock sounded on the door, Irrated by the disturbance: "Come in."

Soon the door opened and there was lukas anf Tyler with a hesitant expression.

"What is it?"

I asked directedly, Not bothering to pay much attention to them as my attention went fully back to the paperwork in my desk.

"A man who's badly injured and was in a gruesome sight was found near the borders and it was in a cave.. He's now in the pack hospital."

I just nodded slightly, I have more important things to do.

I looked up at them and saw that Tyler seemed to still be hiding something: "What is it tyler?"

"Xander.. Was the man that was found in badly injured."

Tyler started, The one who Tyler had met under a tree near our territory..? I'm not sure why but hearing the name Xander had hit something in my heartstrings.

"Alpha, We need your help in something.. Investigating that xander guy."

"Ugh.."

I groaned as my head felt like it was about to crack.. My body as well hurts all over. i could here muffled voices around me talking but i can hardly hear their vauge words.

Opening my eyes only to suddenly close and sheild them with my hand.

"Your awake,"

Once i finnaly opened my eyes to realize that the one who spoke was Tyler.

Sitting up slowly i groaned slightly when i finnaly felt the familiar pain, "What happened?" One of the two man asked and i looked over at him.

"..Nothing..."

Suddenly the man who had the most alluring face like it was sculpted by the devine Creator himself, His eyes looked at mine worriedly like trying to search for answers.

"How long have i been asleep..?"

I asked hesitantly as i looked at Tyler and he answered straightforwardly that i had been asleep and was found badly injured in a cave.

Hearing that i had been out for a day i immediately got out of the bed only to feel the excruciating pain again, Gritting my teeth together i ignored the pain and was about to stand up when someone suddenly stopped me from doing so.

"Your clearly in pain, Stay in bed."

I'm not sure why but when his hands had touched me it felt like sparks went off, I shook my head and clenched my hands.

"I have to go back,"

The man and Tyler seemed yo have been acting weird as they covered their mouths.

Tyler suddenly said: "Apologies for the disrespect at that day Luna, I didn't know.."

"What do you mean luna..? I'm not anyone's mate,"

I said as i smiled softly at Tyler who seemed to be abit taken aback: "Your not a wolf shifter..?"

"Mhm, I'm not,"

"How come you know of werewolves, Packs and your wounds heal faster then humans?"

Tyler asked warily, The man who was sopposedly the Alpha of Night moonstone and who Tyler said is my mate growled lowly at Tyler.

"Watch your tone. "

I sighed: "I need to go, I still need to find a few people or else I'll be back to the Dungeons again.. "
