"Stella we are going to be late!" Molly pestered from her couch.
"It's not my fault I literally have nothing to wear, my entire wardrobe is for work," she said looking her outfit over in the mirror.
"You can't wear that," Molly said. Stella had put on a small black dress that skirted at her waist.
"You look like you just walked out of 2014."Stella rolled her eyes. "Okay then help me."
Molly got up, digging through Stella's closet. She tossed a few items onto her bed. One of her black pencil skirts and a red button down blouse.
"Give me the scissors," Molly instructed.
"You are not cutting up my clothes," Stella stated.
"You're right, I'm saving you from a life of being a prude," she replied, immediately chopping the pencil skirt in half.
"Molly!"
"Put it on, and your good black bra." Soon the look was complete— a short black skirt that barely covered her ass, held up with fishnet stockings. Molly spared her black blouse, instead opting to tie the two bottom ends together across her boobs to make them look... well... more visible.
"I look..."
"Hot," Molly stated. "You look hot."
Stella pulled a purse over her shoulder, and flipped her hair. "Let's go."

The Garden was packed that night. Stella remembered they had run a small segment in one of their shows earlier this week about a three day long residency Greta Van Fleet was doing. It was mostly about traffic and congestion issues the city was going to face, but regardless there was an excitement around the city. At the ripe age of 24, that excitement was no stranger to Stella. Once a fangirl, always a fangirl. But in a cool way.
"Here," Molly handed her a white claw.
"Are we going out tonight?" Stella asked staring at the words 'strawberry-kiwi' in her hand.
"You could say thank you," Molly replied. "This shit is expensive."
Stella smiled, "alright thank you... are we going out tonight?"
"We could grab a drink at the bar a few streets down afterwards," Molly suggested.
"Yes, let's," Stella replied.
Twenty minutes later the lights in the garden finally dimmed, and echo of screams filled the room. The seats weren't exactly close, but the view was still good. Second floor or pit, Stella would be able to relax and forget the events of yesterday evening, something she fully intended to do.
Another minute and her ear was wrecked by Molly's shrieking as four figures stepped on stage. Two of them were of similar height, one had a sort of Mohawk and the other shoulder length hair, another one, the bassist was taller, and his hair was darker. Finally the drummer, he was tall, his hair was slightly above shoulder length and curly as hell.
The band immediately broke into their first song, it had a very raunchy melody, starting off with the guitarist, soon followed by WOOOOOOOOAHHHH MAMMAAAA
The crowd lost their shit, everyone was dancing, yelling the lyrics back. Stella realized this was the first time she'd been to a concert where she knew none of the songs. If this was a fanfiction, perhaps she'd be reading a book right now and trying to catch the attention of one of the band members.
However, she let the music absorb her instead. There's something special about hearing certain songs for the first time ever— live.
Their music was unlike most of her generation. Usually she was drawn to indie rock and some lofi, but whatever magic was in that red electric guitar drowned her senses differently. Song after song, she felt like she was immersed in the music her dad played while growing up.
It was strange in saying she felt at home. Everyone around her was happy and cheerful, there was no judgement, just a bunch of people enjoying their time.
"Who is who?" She leaned into Molly during one of the song breaks.
"That's Jake," she said pointing to the boy with the guitar, "and he's twins with Josh." She gestured to the frontman.
"Oh twins??" Stella glanced at the two, but she was too far to compare facial structure.
"That's Danny on the drums," she pointed again, "and then Sam is playing bass. Sam, Josh, and Jake are brothers."
Stella nodded taking in the information. "They're really good Molly, thanks for inviting me," she said smiling.
"Of course Stel."
The music continued for another hour and a half. The boys bounced around the stage, Josh at one point playing tag with the stage light. When the concert ended it seemed like the entire stadium was struggling to say their hardest goodbye.
Molly was crying.
"Are you alright?" Stella asked comforting her.
"I just love them," she said through sobs. "Let's go to the bar."
Stella laughed a little at her sisters reaction, "I'll buy you a shot."
