"Tears hold untold stories. Don't be afraid to let them fall, for they are the words that your heart cannot express"

My mother told me that she will give the family inheritance once I turn 13th years old. Every year is full of excitement, knowing myself growing older. In this day, I've finally turned 13th years old.

I'm Adora Regina, daughter of the wealthiest family in Rome. People may see me as a girl who would swagger when I stand a chance. I can argue with those hates but haters gonna hate anyway, arguing on them would only make the weather worse.

As a classy girl, it's better for me to stay out of the rain. My birthday party will be celebrated in one of Rome's most famous restaurants. Many people dream to held celebrations here but there is always a price to pay. They will not be able to pay by throwing hilarious comments towards us, wealthy people, could they?

"Happy birthday, Adora!", my ears rang a bell when I hear my best friend, Brunétta's voice. We have been sticking to each other since we were still in kindergarten.

She always tries her best to cheer me up. I'm grateful to have a best friend like Brunétta, although she did not manage to find solutions to every storm that I needed to pass in life.

My best friend Brunétta never disappoints me. On my 13th birthday this year, she gives me a teddy bear stuffed toy that just came out last month. I hug her tightly as we come closer to each other.

Brunétta would never makes me uncomfortable. "Ahia! My tongue feels prickly!", Brunétta shouted. At least she does not intend to make me uncomfortable.

She lowers her head as she asks me, "Aren't you going to help me?". I feel trapped inside my mind. She handed out a gift to me but the doors are closed now.

I hear footsteps coming nearby, "Regina dear, do you wish to celebrate your birthday in this garden?". Little did I remember that I'm going to celebrate my birthday in a dreamy restaurant.

I take Brunétta's hand then hold it, "No worries mamma, we will come inside now". We enter the celebration, walking like early Roman princesses.

Brunétta and I take a seat while waiting for the waitress to bring us glasses of water. Out of the blue, the waitress also brings a gelato for me.

A saddened look drawn on Brunétta's face, "This may be my birthday but we have been sharing many things for a long time". She smiles as my mother orders another gelato for her.

My mother sits comes near me, "Adora, I am grateful to be given the chance to raise a humble principessa like you".

She takes a rosegold coloured jewelry box, "Your nonna bequeathed this jewelry to me on my 13th birthday, now I will bequeath it to you" but little did we know, the jewelry inheritance has gone missing.

Shockwaved at this moment, my mother whimpers. But such unpleasant words came out from my older cousin, Lua's mouth, "Stop being dramatic, don't be so serious".

It is a shame that Lua rudely talks to my mother when she is clearly feeling down.

Life goes on, so does the inheritance. The Regina family's jewelry has to be passed down to each generation.

Brunétta hopes for the best, "I hope the jewelry will be found soon but I need to go, fra Arcadéoz should've arrived by now to pick me up". I wish cousin sorella mia could be as wise as Brunétta's cousin fratello mio, Arcadéoz.

I've been thinking about Lua lately, knowing how kind she was.. wonderful in every way. Now she just put the whole families' names in danger, we don't know what to do anymore.
