Imogen
Surviving my first day of Hogwarts was done. I was so exhausted once I got back to Ravenclaw Town and wanted to do nothing but count sheep.
But my mind was less focused on sleeping. Everytime I tried to get some rest something or more like someone kept creeping up on me rudely interrupting my current sleep pattern.
So I climbed out of bed letting out a frustrated whisper sigh from my lips without interrupting my follow Ravenclaw's peaceful sleeping.
Then headed to the one place that would erase my mind.
The Astronomy Tower.
Hermione had told me that it was the best place to think if you couldn't sleep or simply just wanted some alone time.
So there I when.
Looking among the stars sat in a nice spot on the chilling cold steps alone.
In.
The.
Peace.
And.
Quiet.
Not having a care in the world for once in my life whilst being away from home.
Sudden footsteps interrupted me. I turned around in utter fear and aimed my wand at the mysterious stranger in self-defence ready to cast a spell.
A figure emerged out of the shadows raising his hands up in self-defence. "Hey I'm not a threat!" He spoke in a strong American accent etching closer to me.
Standing onto my feet I shoved the boy against a wall and pointed my wand straight to the crook of his neck.
"Then what are you then?" I sternly inquired through my teeth. "A fucking peering Tom!"
The boy shook his head terrified. "No I'm not a peering Tom I promise" He gulped deeply if a frog had rested in his throat.
"Please just let me explain" His brown eyes were nearly on the verge of tears once when I slowly removed my wand away from his neck. Sweat dipped down his tanned forehead and thick long coffee brown.
And it was evident through his baby blue pyjamas too.
"I didn't come to spy on you. I came here because I couldn't sleep and I needed a place to think" The boy nervously rambled stepping towards me with my wand firmly still aimed in his direction.
I rolled my eyes in a sarcastic manner. "And sleep?"
"Well maybe?" The boy nodded through a light chuckle. "What are you doing up after hours in the Astronomy Tower?"
"If I tell I'll have to hex you first" I threatened in a less than playful tone of voice attempting to scare the shit out of him.
The boy crossed his arms against curving a sly on his lips. "So what type of hex are you gonna use on me then?"
"The most common one of course" Although I was lying through my teeth. I really hoped that he would believe him.
The boy raised a quizzical brow glancing at me instantly. "What it's called then? If you call yourself an expert of Hex's tell me the name of the most common hex you know?"
He knew I was lying and there's no denying that.
Now I'll just have to let the truth set me free.
"Fine!" I huffed lowering my voice irritated as I aimed my wand away from him in shame and placed it back into my comfort night gown's pocket. "I don't know any hex's ok. I just wanted to scare you that's all"
