PART TWOOO! (What you all have been waiting for...)
(On the bus)
Jay's POV:
"What if we ran away...you could be happy and stay happy, without having to see those fights between your parents," I said.
"I don't know...seems risky," Kyra said.
"Happiness takes risking. You have already done that. Now it is time for the next step, I'll let you think about it tonight. Tomorrow, you can decide. I'll figure out if my brother wants to come too, he's experienced with finding jobs and houses," I said. We agreed.
*The Next Day*
Kyra's POV:
Well, I wasn't expecting such a big step from Jay, but it just proves that he loves me and never wants to let me go, I feel the same...
We sit down and start to talk about it.
"Sooo...? Do you want to?" he asks.
".........well...(I hesitate...) oh alright, I'll come, but where are we going to go, and what if we get caught? And how are we going to get a job if we can't even tell anyone who we are?" I ask.
"We are going somewhere on the opposite side of the U.S, somewhere around Arizona or California, you can choose. We won't get caught easily over there. My uncle lives over there and he can make us very good fake IDs," Jay explains.
"Ok, although I am nervous, I trust you and love you. More than anyone in the entire world. I'll take my chance. So are we leaving tonight?" I ask.
"If my brother says ok, but he always has wanted to live around there and thinks that our house isn't really fit for him, so he will probably agree. We are going to rent a U-Haul and take my brother and my furniture with us, not much though, just the basics, he will drive. Get your stuff packed tonight," he said.
When I get home, I start to pack, my parents aren't home, probably at the bar, perfect. I get a suitcase for clothes and bags and boxes for other stuff.
Around 10:30, Jay comes and has the U-Haul, I can't believe he pulled that off. I put in my stuff and we get ready to go.
Jay's POV:
I am so happy that we could make all this possible. We head to the bank first, Kyra says she has over 500 dollars saved up! We take out the money which was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I put in my money and my brother, Shawn puts in his too. All together we have a little over $1,650. All those summer jobs really paid off. This should last us a little while, we will just have to rent an apartment.
"So, where do you want to go?" I ask Kyra, after all, I told her she could decide.
"Somewhere in California, I think San Diego. Hollywood would be too crowded," she said.
"Ok, we just have to got to Uncle Bobby's place in Phoenix, Arizona for our ID's, better start thinking of a different name," I say. I think mine will be Jerry.
"Mine will be...Kyle," said Shawn.
"Maryah (mer-eye-ah)," said Kyra.
We decide our last names will all be Rosher. We already found an apartment that we could rent that is in a friendly neighborhood by lots of stores and places to eat. A few blocks down from there is the beautiful beach. It has a somewhat small kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a living room and a dining room. We explain this all to Kyra...I mean Maryah.
Kyra's POV:
It was a really really long drive and we stopped multiple times. We slept in the truck. I laid awake.
