I got up early in the morning to start the day, sure my whole day was just gonna be decorating my house, but Halloween was the best night of the year, so I went back outside to finish decorating.
This time it was light out so i thought it would be safer, while deep in thought I was startled by a voice.
"Hello there!" A friendly voice called out, as I jumped a little.
"Didn't mean to scare ya." The voice said, i turned around to see a man maybe in his 20s with dark brown hair, jeans and a leather jacket, probably one of those bad boy wanna be.
"Morning, and it's fine." I said to the man I also noticed that I never seen him in the neighborhood before.
"Are you new here?" I said out of curiosity. The man smiled witch was kinda unsettling for some reason.
"Why yes I am the names Walter!" He said in a cheery voice.
"And you may be?" He smiled.
"Oh I'm Jay." I return the smile.
"A pretty name for a pretty woman."
He said witch i thought it came out kinda flirty but that's probably just me being paranoid.
"Uh thank you?" I said to him not believing a word he said.
"We'll you look busy so I won't bother you any longer see ya." He said as he walked into his house.
