A/N-
ANGST COMING UP!!!!!?
(proofread again)

based off his stories

I forgot to mention for chapter 1, reader and Oliver Fog's age are set to be around 17, I hope you don't mind that, just cause I change it doesn't mean I'll write weird stuff. I guess it's kinda just for the plot.
(in this one you two are 15)

first part will be Oliver fog focused, but don't worry you'll obviously be there in later parts.

if you notice why a few of the writing styles feel familiar from the first chapter, it's really just a connection ^^

I've read Oliver Fog's stories and I thought about a comfort fic, but it will be how you two first met.

"father, please. You have to take a rest for at least a moment!" child Oliver pleaded to his father.

His father has been grown out and working for the past overtime now. Trying his best to reduce all the fog.

Oliver noticed so many changes within his father: he has been coughing more than constantly, Oliver would even hear him cough as if his father were to vomit out his lungs, And his tall figure was bent down like a withered branch.

Oliver couldn't face nor bare to see his father in such a horrible condition.

"It cannot be done, Oliver. It is my, but our responsibility.." his father's voice was dry. Sounding like near at death.

His father left Oliver in a sadden state, a state that led him in a critical mentality.

Although one day,
"Son. I'd.. like to see you take my place for a bit today" Oliver's father says, with the same old dry voice.

"you.. mean it?" Oliver wasn't excited about the job, rather he was relieved, if he could put it in words.

he had mixed emotions for this one, what if he fails? what if he messes up everything?

thoughts like these flooded up in his head worryingly.

his father came to take a quick notice of his worried behaviour "do not worry--" his father coughs mid sentence, then continues "there will be workers that shall guide you there.." his father assures him while trying to give Oliver a smile as he can.

Oliver deeply inhaled, this was all a bit pressuring to him, it's still the weekend which means he doesn't have school, and he already finished his homework, despite the assurance, Oliver was still a little frightened.

"I.. I won't let you down father" Oliver said, with great honour in his voice. His father was still smiling at the sight of his kid. "Now.. I want you to get dressed, I have some spare working outfits in my closet.."

-

as Oliver puts on the clothes, it felt a bit baggy, especially the jacket he wore, it was all a bit too big for him, he also took one of his Pocket watch with him. He shows it to his father patiently waiting for his approval, His father sensed the distress in his face because of the baggy clothes.

"do not worry, you'll grow out of it." his father let's put a chuckle, but as soon as he laughs a bit more, he starts to cough again.

As Oliver tries to leave the house, his father stops him. "Oliver, I want you to wear the hat" his father said

"you mean.. the fogwalkers hat?" he said, pointing at the hat, that was unknowingly beside him, sitting on a table.

"yes.. I want you to take it to work, so then they'll see you're taking your father's place." His father said
