They gazed into one others eyes for what seemed like an eternity. He leaned in eager to kiss her again when someone burst through the tent.

'Sorry to interrupt but you better get back out here!' Said Gascan, a smirk on his face.

Fryboy nodded as Gascan left them alone once again. Ivy looked at him, her eyes full of sadness. She didn't want their romantic waltz to ever end.

'Come on my love, it's still Halloween. Let's go and have some fun. I'll still be around' said Fryboy, gently. Ivy nodded. And they walked out of the tent slowly, hand in hand.

Before he skated off they exchanged numbers so that they could text or call if they needed to. He gave her a longing look before disappearing through the queues of people.

'Having fun?' Asked a voice behind her. Ivy jumped up a little bit and turned around to see that it was the manager Max, standing there.

'Max, how did you just appear like that?' Asked Ivy, a little skeptical. He did just appear out of nowhere.

'Since being one of the main managers at the park. It's my job to know all the secret routes of getting around. I checked to see how you were doing' said Max, a charming smile on his face.

Suddenly his energy had changed and Ivy certainly noticed it. It made her wonder whether he knew what was going on between her and Fryboy.

'I'm doing a lot better thank you. This place really is starting to feel like home' said Ivy, fondly.

'That's wonderful to hear! Have you met any of the scare actors yet?' Asked Max, curiously.

Ivy wanted to lie but she also knew that it wouldn't help her in the future.

'Yes I have, they seem perfect for the job' said Ivy, causally. Still trying to hide her feelings for her new handsome lover.

'Anyone in particular catch your eye?' Asked Max, wanting to know more of what she was thinking.

Ivy looked at him suspiciously. 'Why do you ask?' Wondered Ivy.

'Just wanted to hear some feedback. Opinions are always needed. Especially from our customers' said Max, with a small smile. His eyes seemed normal again. Almost relaxed. Ivy wasn't sure whether she had been imaging the mood change earlier.

'Gascan seems mysterious' said Ivy, finally. Doing her best to keep him off the trail.

'He certainly is mysterious indeed. Thank you for your honesty' said Max.

Ivy nodded and smiled a little.

'What are your thoughts on Fryboy?' Asked Max, a small smile on his face.

Ivy tried not to react in any particular way. Her eyes wondered around the park, she kept her face one of confusion. She saw Fryboy's head stand out in the distance amongst the fog. She heard screams. She knew he was down there.

She turned back to look at Max. She didn't want to lie but perhaps she needed too. Ivy wasn't sure why but something inside her told her not trust him fully.

'From what I've seen he does his job well. His makeup looks pretty cool' said Ivy, trying to remain calm as possible. Max nodded taking in her response.

'Have you spoken to him?' Asked Max, his face looked serious.

'I'm sorry Max but how is this helpful exactly?' Asked Ivy, not sure why he wanted to know so much.

'Forgive me, I'll let you enjoy your Halloween in peace. Good evening Ivy' said Max.

'Yeah.. good evening' said Ivy, looking at him suspiciously. She watched as he walked away towards the other side of the park.
