Three weeks.

It has been three weeks.

I feel I'm going crazy. This boy hasn't not been on my mind for three fucking weeks.

I've never felt this strongly towards anyone. This conflicted. Everything I do, I'm reminded of the look on his face when he ran into the bathroom. How broken he sounded when I told him to stop talking.

When I saw him a Hazel's place, he looked like he had so many emotions and thoughts swimming in his mind.

Like his sanity was on the edge of a 50-story skyscraper.

And I was standing behind him, threatening to push him over the ledge.

I park my car in the public car parking garage. I grab both my suitcases and my purse, heading to the docks where everyone should be waiting.

Hazel texted me saying that she and Micah had gotten there a while ago and were by the ice cream parlor.

That was about 20 minutes ago.

I look around in search of Hazel's long, silky black hair. It doesn't take long to find them sharing an ice cream sundae on a bench by the end of the docks.

I lug my bags behind me as I make my way toward them. Micah notices me first. His eyes widen and something that looks like unease swims behind his eyes for a quick 3 seconds.

It's gone before I could even recognize what it is and he sticks out his arm, pointing in my direction. Hazel turns around, a smile on her face as she waves me over.

"Hey! How was the traffic? Did it settle down yet?" she stands up and hugs me.

"It was okay." meaning I didn't scream at other cars on the highway. "It cleared up when I got here though." I look around, telling myself that I'm not sure what I'm looking for when in reality, I'm more sure than anything.

"Wheres—"

Micah cut in before I could finish my sentence. He's fidgety, playing with his hands and his eyes flickering to the backs of everyone around us.

"He said he was - don't be mad - picking someone up." his gaze finds Hazel's. A weird look on his face.

Why is he being so weird? He looks almost, scared. But why? "Picking up who?" I ask. He shrugs his shoulders but something in the way he looks down at his lap tells me that he knows something.

"I don't—" his eyes go wide as they catch onto something behind me. "Looks like your about to find out. Hazel don't do anything, okay?" both me and Hazel look behind me, instantly catching sight of Kenji.

I smile but it's quickly snatched off of my face as a girl appears from behind him. He rolls both his and her suitcases in his hands.

Why is she making him carry her stuff? Who is this girl? I look at Micah looks mildly disappointed at the sight.
