Chapter 6: The Festival

Jirou's Pov: It was the day of the festival it wasn't time to go yet though I told Kaminari to pick me up at 8:00-8:30 which was a half an hour before the festival. I decided to relax a bit to take me ease off because I never liked going to festivals for one reason. It's because of Him and what he did to me.

Flashback Jirou POV: "Hey Jirou wait up" I hear coming from down the hallway "Oh hey Tanashi you need something?" I asked, "Yeah I just wanted to ask if you wanted to go to the festival with me as in a date" I blushed and said "Sure why not it'll be fun" I said excitingly. Once I got home, I made sure to look nice, so I did my makeup and put on my best kimono. I told my mom That a boy asked me out and she was so happy for me, and she offered to drive me to there. I said, "No thanks mom I told him we were going to meet there, and I don't want to get there too early". After I told my mom about the boy, I slowly walked out of my house feeling more nervous than ever. But I powered over it and started walking to the festival. Once I had arrived it was so pretty so many people and couples. I pulled out my phone and texted him.

Hey you on your way?

                                                               Yeah, I'll be there soon!

I put my phone back in my pocket and waited for a few minutes and those minutes slowly turned into hours and hours. eventually I gave up on waiting and went home and cried into my pillow for an hour or 2 then i got a text from no other.

                                                                                  Hey, I have to tell you something..

What the fuck do you want you bastard

                                                                            Sorry for not going but I didn't expect you to say yes, I                                                                                    wasn't going to go with you it was a dare from my                                                                                           friends.

Fuck you Tanashi I don't ever want to see your face again!

After that I slammed my phone face down on my bed and cried some more. After that I avoided every boy in my school well all except one.

End of flashback

Jirou POV: I started to rethink the bet "What if Kaminari does the same thing that he did what if he-" my mind was cut off because I heard a scream come from the hallway "KIRISHIMAAAAAA HELP ME" I knew that scream from anywhere it was Kaminari. He was getting chased by Bakugou because it looked like Kaminari was drawling on his face when he was sleeping. A little far behind I see a red-haired boy come running after Bakugou "Wait Bakugou you can wash it off!!!" "It's too early for this shit" I said to myself, so I just ignored them.

I picked up my phone to look at the time and it was 7:00. After that I told Kaminari what time it was "Alright I'll get ready soon thanks Jirou." I went to my room put on an orange shirt with blue sleeves and some red pants and purple sneakers. After that I decided to go wait out it the common room for everyone because I know a lot of people were going to come. After a few minutes I saw Kaminari walk out of the elevator he was wearing a white shirt with a red jacket and ripped jeans with yellow and black sneakers. "Hey, he said while walking up to me. His voice sounded calm not tense. "Hey" I said back quickly. "You uh look nice" He said "Thanks I guess" I responded. 

After a few more minutes I see more people come down such as Midoriya, Uraraka, Ashido, Kirishima, Bakugou and even Iida. Once the rest of the class came down, we all talked and waited for the time to hit 7:30. "Jirou your coming?" I turn around to see Ashido staring at me "Yeah only this year though" She looked at me for a second "So are you going with anyone" she smirked "Nope not at all!" I said quickly "I know when people are lying Jirou" the pink girl said, "Fine I'm going with Kaminari not for a date though just to hang out "After that I feel someone grab my hand gently it was Kaminari "Cmon Jirou we don't want to be late" I hear him say with ease. After that he walked out to a car and opened the passenger door inviting me in "You don't have a car how'd you get this?" I asked, "Oh a long story I had to talk to Mr. Aizawa about it but it worked I told him I'd bring it back safe and sound." He said. 

I got in the car passenger seat and a few seconds later I hear the driver's door open and in comes Kaminari. He shuts the door and clicks his seatbelt, puts the key into the ignition and starts the car. He slowly starts driving towards the direction of the festival and eventually he turns to talk to me "So how are you feeling?" he asked, "Kinda nervous" I responded "whys that nothing bad will happen I promise" he said while giving a signature smile "Kaminari can I tell you something." He immediately stopped smiling and looked serious "Sure hit me with it" he said "okay so you know how I don't like festival's?" I asked, "Yeah but you never told me why" he said "Well I'm ready to tell you now because I trust you Kaminari I really do." After I told him about Tanashi I looked over at Kaminari He looked pissed "What an asshole that guy obviously didn't know what he was doing he sound like a shitty person people like that don't deserve you" he said sounding as serious as ever. It was rare for Kaminari to get mad but when he did it was hell for whoever he was screaming at.

After the car ride, he pulled into the parking lot and got out a few moments later he opened my door and helped me out. The rest of the class was already here somewhere because of mine and Kaminaris talk he had to pull over. So, we got here last, but we still weren't late, so he grabbed my hand and we slowly walked in together. It had been so long since I've seen so many people not at UA, but it was kind of relaxing "Cmon Jirou lets have some fun" I hear Kaminari say with excitement "Let's do it!" I said while feeling genially happy. We played games won prized Kaminari won me a Pikachu plushie it was the perfect size for me. "Jirou lets do the Ferris wheel!". 

I followed Kaminari to the Ferris wheel and slowly got on it with him as it slowly went around I look out to see the ocean and the stars in the night sky. As other people had to get on, we were stopped at the top and I hear come from the blonde next to me "It's beautiful isn't it." I look over and say, "Yeah it is, I haven't seen anything like this since you took me to gaze over the city". He was staring right at me before we felt the Ferris wheel start to move again. Every time we went to the top I looked out and saw all the lights and the view of everything. "Beautiful" I said to myself looking out at the sea and the night sky "Hm you say something Jirou" I hear Kaminari say from beside me "Oh no I was just admiring the view.

Once we got off the Ferris wheel, we had some time to kill so we had fun like anyone would do. We ate and played games and I bullied Kaminari, but it was fun the best day I've had in a long time. Once we neared the time the fireworks were going to happen, I feel a hand grab mine and pulls me it was Kaminari. "Come on Jirou I know the perfect place to watch the fireworks" I followed him till we reached a little ledge with a railing by the edge and a view of the whole festival. "So how do you know about this place again?" I asked. "Well, I come up here often to get away from it all its peaceful here". 

Once we waited for a bit, we here a loud BOOM They had started to launch the fireworks. I ran to the edge to watch them, and they were so cool and pretty. A few seconds later I see Kaminari standing next to me watching the fireworks "They're pretty huh" He said, "Yeah they really are thank you for bringing me out here to see this" and I genially meant that. "Hey anytime don't be scared to ask if you want to hang out, I won't say no". I gave him a nod and looked back at the fireworks as they exploded into the sky i looked over and looked into Kaminari's eyes and thought "Were his eyes always this bright they look calm and peaceful".

A/N: I will try to update this story every week so that way I can focus on school and this story and I'm sorry it took so long for it to get out I'll try and update the story every Wed-Thurs so once again thank you for reading and see you next chapter.
