Cryptic instructions. Years of hearing shit like that made me better at deciphering them, doesn't mean it won't take a bitch or two to fully understanding them. The people intent to keep whispering of me. I'm drawing too much attention. At the corner of my eye I spot a cheap store that sells old fashioned crap or broken discarded items.
Alright.
I make a beeline to that store and entered it, shockingly there wasn't a whole lot of people in here. Mostly old people with their youngsters of grandchildren or volunteers from a school, something of that. My feet take me to a wall of box tvs, most are static or off. Except one.
"Our daily scheduled news! Today we share with you some joyous developments in regards to the tainted water situation! We're happy to announce that all apartments to which the tainted water had been delivered, have been secured!"
"Tainted water and apartments..." Ah, has to be related to-
"It has been three months since the first incident was discovered, and the death toll is at a comfy 53. No biggie. And the quarantine period for those whom are at risk, has been extended by another 2 weeks." The news reporter took a second to read something off screen then continued this message of 'safety and health', "And to our friends in quarantine, thank you for keeping your disgusting parasite infected bodies far, far away from me!"
How honest..
The reporter coughed in a attempt to clean themselves from potential harrassment from the public, "Sorry, it's...'Thank you for your continued consideration to the public's safety'. That's all for today, cheers!" They booted off the channel.
