They spent the entire night searching for their friend, but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful in finding him. Ashley was growing increasingly tired and impatient, which started irritating Andrew. Since the friend was no longer an option, they decided to pursue the second option that brought them to this world - their parents.

Once it was morning...

After mishaps and a little breaking-in (the parents need not know), they got in the house and looked around for points of interest to pass the time. Andrew mainly found nothing but the death certificates of Andrew Grave and Ashley Grave. He didn't seem pleased, at the least.
Ashley found something on her own. More papers.

".................Is someone there???"

"H-HIIIIi MOM!! It's just...us!" I swallow my guilt and rush out, sensing Ashley behind me and following.

Despite my attempt, she looked at me with eyes of confusion, and I could tell she didn't expect to see Ashley or me. "Andrew...?" She puts down a bag on the drawer near her, "What are you doing here?"

"Surprise! We came for a visit!" I smile brightly; I have to act like it.

I did want to see her. Acting will be easy.

Mom looks to the side, her yellow eyes trying to find something to discuss, "Oh...I see."

Ashley pops from behind and asks her a question, "How are you home so early? Did you get fired or something??"

"It's my day off. I just went shopping." Mom looks at Ashley and me, her thinking processor catching onto something. "How did you two get inside?"

I chimed in and said, "You left the door unlocked. You should really be more careful about that."

"...Did I really?"

"Yeah." I went to the drawer and picked up her bag, "Here. Let me help with that groceries."

"Thanks..? You should've let me know you were coming." Mom told me but I avoided that.

"How about some coffee?? Where do you keep the grounds?" I held the bag with one hand.
