Life has changed drastically for Harry since he auditioned at Cube. For starters he could freely rap without being reprimanded. He still wanted to keep his job for the time so he changed it to part time. Until he found a good university he would hustle.
The second big change was meeting all kinds of faces. Entering the training room he was nervous. He made such an awkward impression that everyone laughed at him. Despite that he met good people. Yoseob became his guide through the mighty Cube building.
Yoon Doojoon was slightly older than him. He was mildly handsome and girls were drawn to him. He was definitely someone to look up to.
Lee Gikwang was a hyperactive kid. He was always the first to finish his training. No matter what dance routine he was doing he always seemed to have reserves left. Apparently, the kid just debuted as a solo artist.
Hyunseung was pretty famous, already being a former YG trainee and nearly debuted in BigBang. Why he left was a mystery, but one thing was for sure the guy had charisma. He pretty much talked with every trainee there. He had to get used to his forward personality.
Song Dongwon was younger than all the other boys he's met. Despite that he looked to be oldest. It was hard to believe this guy he was younger than Gikwang. He seemed a little withdrawn to himself.
There were some girls he got to meet. Jiyoon was the first he met. She was a tomboy and sometimes hanged out with the guys. She could spit a decent rap. Jihyun was pretty cute with a baby face. She was sweet and always complimented him. She somewhat of a motherly aura for better or worse. Gayoon came from a more conservative family so she can be a little intense to talk to. She was always scolding someone in the end. Sohyun was just a kid, barely in graduating middle school. She had Gikwang's hyperness.
And then there was Hyuna, the ex JYP trainee, former member of Wonder Girls. She was clearly the favorite among the instructors. She was years younger than him and already showed greater potential. She could rap and she could dance. Cube was obviously up to something with her.
Perhaps the closest friend he made was Canadian trainee Gina Choi. Due to her speaking English they quickly hit it off well. She was sexy from head to toe, had a great voice to listen to and was older than him by two years. She definitely gave a noona vibe. He couldn't help but feel attracted by her.
He would do anything to date a woman like her....
And so it was time for begin preparations for their first girl and boy groups. Once 2009 dawned they ramped up the training. A lot more dancing and singing practice. Harry wouldn't call himself a singer let alone a dancer. Gikwang and Hyunseung always performed the best and Yosoeb was a great singer. He was an MC for goodness' sake not an idol. Part of him regrets not looking deeper into it.
"Pick up the pace Harry-ah!" His instructor scolded him.
"I'm trying! This isn't easy. I'm not a a dancer!" Harry increased the pace of his workout.
"If you're hoping to debut then you need to pick up the pace. Life isn't going to cater to your needs. Sometimes you gotta put the work in to get what you want that means sacrificing free time." The instructor replied.
"He's right. Don't feel disheartened my friend. Our debut is only months away. If we can show we can preserve this training imagine when we become full idols." Yoseob out a hand to his shoulder for support.
"You're right Yosoeb I need to put my all if I wanna be a rapper. Let's go!" Harry feeling motivated again.
By the end the trainees were dead tired.
"Man!!! That was such a drag today!!" Gikwang cracked his shoulder.
"Tell me about it. I didn't think he would up the training like that. Feels like I'm in the army." Doojoon cracked his neck.
