^Thoughts^
(3rd POV)
In Marinette's head, she was telling the story. ^It is now the next Monday and as the best way to start off the week, we had nothing to do today, yayyy. I am staying at the manor, because why not, also, no Lila. Sorry, I meant Lier-la. Spelling mistake.^ Looks directly at invisible camera. ^Also, yes, I am aware that I am just a part of this story. Yes, I did indeed just break the fourth wall. Had to make things a bit more interesting you know. Anyway, back to the story. Stop making it so complicated. I haven't had enough coffee to deal with this yet. Excuse me for a second while I make myself a cup of coffee.^ She walked down to the kitchen, made a coffee, and downed it all in one go, like she was doing a chugging competition. She didn't even care that it was burning hot.
^Now that I've had a coffee, let's get back to the story for real now.^ She walked to the living room, where Damian was watching the TV, and Tim was using his laptop, most likely doing research. He is always using that laptop, doing research, or work for Wayne Enterprises. She walked to one of the separate couch chairs, sitting down.
*Let me continue what I was saying. So, anyway, I'm meant to be going shopping later and Dad said that there was someone he wanted me to meet. So, that will be nice. Wonder who he wants me to meet? I also have a few more commissions to work on today. It shouldn't take me too long. Anyways, in other news...* She continued to have the one-sided conversation in sign language, instead of in her head like earlier. Meanwhile, Tim and Damian were looking at her weirdly, wondering why she just sat there staring at nothing, talking in sign language. "Is she okay?" Tim asked Damian. A bit sceptical like she was insane. "She seems like she needs to see a psychologist." Damian responded a bit warily.
Jason walked into the living room, staring at his phone, not paying attention to what was happening around him. He sat down on the couch next in between Tim and Damian. "Ahem." Tim cleared his throat to get Jason's attention. "What?" Jason questioned Tim, looking up from his phone. Once Tim noticed he had Jason's attention, he gestured with his eyes over to Marinette. Jason looked over to where Tim's eyes were directed and saw Marinette talking to someone in sign language. But there was nobody there. "What the.?!" He had no idea how to react to that or what was going on.
"Hey guys, Bruce needs us to..." Dick walked into the room and stopped what he was saying upon seeing what was happening. He just stood there, frozen in the doorway, staring at Marinette. He turned to the boys with a questioning look. "Is she okay? How long has she been doing that for?" He questioned them. Damian looked at him and spoke. "A few minutes. She just walked into here, sat down and started doing that. She has been staring at the wall the whole time." He had no idea what to say to that, so he just joined them in watching her.
"Boys, I need you to..." Bruce then walked in and saw the boys staring at Marinette, who was doing sign language, while staring at a wall. "What happened?" Bruce asked the boys. The boys all just shrugged their shoulders, wondering the same thing. He turned to face Marinette and watch what she was doing. "How long have you boys been sitting here, watching her for?" He asked the boys. "About five or ten minutes." Damian replied. Bruce just held a blank stare, not sure what was happening with life.
"Young masters, might I ask what you are all looking at?" Alfred then joined in on the crazy train when he walked in. His question was answered for him when he looked at Marinette. "How long has the young mistress been doing that for?" Alfred asked them all. "About ten minutes." The Batboys all answered him without even looking at him. Normally, Alfred would have told them all to stop staring and go back to their business, but he was curious why she was doing that.
