Warriors book. Could be used for WoF or just a fiction book.
Death/murder warning!
Cherrypaw (feel free to change the name and everything) wants to be the leader of her clan. She expresses this to her large group of friends and they say that being a leader sounds awesome. They noted all the ways it would be fun and how to get to that position. Cherrypaw thought that all of their talk meant that they wanted to be leaders, too. She took that as competition.
So of course her response is to go on a killing spree and murder all the cats in that group so that she could be leader. The last cat to be killed, Paleclover (feel free to change his name - they made it to warriors by then) managed to tell her that they were all just trying to encourage her and didn't meant to threaten her dreams. She kills him anyway.
You can decide if she gets caught, becomes leader, dies, or whatever else.
