Impatience

Neuvillette stood behind Wriothesley, watching his mate closely.

Wriothesley had to take a moment to appear measured and not whirl around excitedly, like he was an actual puppy. It would have been embarrassing how far gone he was on Neuvillette, if the feeling wasn't so clearly mutual, and well, who could blame him?

Especially after all this teasing he'd been made to endure, and the week he had to look forward to. His first vacation in literal years, and he would be getting very minimal rest.

He turned with a wide smile and approached Neuvillette with a little spring in his step. His arousal from earlier was still noticeable, so he was glad there weren't any guards in the immediate vicinity.

A smile found its way to Neuvillette's lips once he saw the other turn around. Stealing a very quick glance at Wriothesley's tight pants, he smirked once he saw what he expected to.

Meeting Wriothesley's eyes with his own, he raised a gloved hand and gave a soft wave. It took him a lot of energy not to lose himself at that very moment, showing the world just how badly he wanted.. no, needed Wriothesley.

"Really, thanks for picking me up." He said, forcing himself to keep from reaching out.

Clearing his throat with a sudden realization he was deep in thought, he listened to the other.

"It's nothing, I don't mind one bit."

They kept up a professional relationship in public, though he doubted that would be the case much longer. Not once he'd put a ring on his dragon's finger.

He flexed his hands at his sides, the urge to take Neuvillette's hands or maybe just throw away all caution and pull him into a kissing broad daylight near overwhelming.

Neuvillette outstretched his hand to the dark-haired male.

"Shall we?" He asked, trying to seem composed. Maybe Wriothesley could notice the way his body quivered, with both excitement, anticipation and impatience.

"We shall." Wriothesley's grin widened as he hooked his arm around Neuvillette's, the perfect picture of a young couple taking a stroll. Well. Young would be a little far from the truth, but the point still stood.

Neuvillette smiled once Wriothesley's arm was intertwibed with his, and he walked along at a slightly faster pace than normal, as he was exceptionally eager. Though, the image of them walking together was quite cute.

Holding onto Neuvillette, Wriothesley could feel the unusual tension in his body. He was almost shaking. This really had to be taxing for him, if Neuvillette was holding himself back.

Wriothesley was very glad he could help him, and not just for his own selfish reasons.

"You know," he murmured, "I've thought about you a lot before. When I was alone at night in my quarters."

It was true, even before they had grown close, there had been something about Neuvillette that had drawn Wriothesley in.

He wouldn't go so far as to call himself one of the weird admirers the Chief Justice had within the Fortress, people who found his court persona quite attractive, but...

His power and presence sure had always made him interesting.

With Neuvillette's body still quivering, he was glad Wriothesley was somewhat distracting his thoughts by speaking.

"Oh?" Neuvillette listened, a little surprised Wriothesley was admitting this. "What does that imply?" He asked, stepping slightly towards Wriothesley as he walked.

"I will admit, I've thought about you quite a lot. If you couldn't tell." He added, wanting to escape the eyes of the public so he could satisfy himself and Wriothesley already.

If only Neuvillette could actually fly, or teleport them like some other immortal beings could that he'd heard stories of. Walking seemed awfully inefficient all of a sudden.
And Neuvillette was so strong and warm by his side.

Looking over at Wriothesley, he suddenly wanted to rub all the way back to his quarters, though it would bring too much attention to him and Wriothesley. Instead, keeping their arms firmly linked, he slightly quickened his pace instead.

"Oh, I could tell, considering you went out shopping just because you believed you'd get me in your bed some day." He teased with a little laugh.

"I did, I took some time off of work just to get the stuff." He spoke, pulling Wriothesley closer to him.

Despite the nature of what Neuvillette had bought, it felt like a romantic gesture that he'd take some time off for his shopping trip. It happened almost never that the Chief Justice wasn't found in his office or the court room, after all.

Right, conversation. That was better than all the other things he wanted to do right this second.

Wriothesley lowered his voice further. "I didn't do anything quite so.. brash, but I do get myself off to the thought of you quite often, actually. I never even dared to dream that you'd have such a forceful side to you though. Shows what I know. Of course my dragon would be all firm and demanding."

"Oh, yeah? I confess to having done the same on multiple occasions." Neuvillette smiled. "If you didn't think I'd be forceful, then what did you think? Submissive? Judgemental?" He chuckled. "Honestly, I'm almost impressed that you admitted that. I'm not complaining though."

Neuvillette had a way of making Wriothesley feel special with the oddest things.

"Well..." He swallowed. "I mostly expected you to be less forward? If you're not usually interested in people, you can't have had much sex in your, admittedly, long life. I didn't think you'd know so precisely what you want."

And maybe he'd thought about having to show Neuvillette some things. This was almost even better though.

Wriothesley liked new experiences, and Neuvillette always managed to surprise him.

With a smirk, he leaned down to whisper in Wriothesley's ear. "I hope you're excited, Puppy~, because I know I am." Neuvillette said, knowing with every step he was getting closer to marking Wriothesley and finally feeling the bliss of breeding his mate.
