I fumble into the girls locker room gagging it the second I breathed the same air as girls.
I'm bisexual but, I'm also non-binary so I feel.. out of place. I take off my red devil sweater and slide on my school spirit shirt. "Go Royal Mouses!" Is what was splantered onto the ugly Grey shirt. And yes, you heard that right! Mouses. Royal mouses. That's what my school mascot is.
I slam my locker door shut fixing my hair in the locker room mirror that's in-between the two sides of the girls locker room.
Out of the blue someone bumps into me.
"Ah what the fuck!?"
I hold my arm getting shoved into the mirror.
"OH! Im so sorry I didn't see you!."
Wait.. isn't this the girl from the hallway mirror? Oh! She's. Taller then me? Odd. She seems to be about 6'0 but maybe I'm just being extra since I've never seen anyone in the school taller them me,.
"Are you uh.. okay?"
She pats my shoulder after I completely zoned out.
"Yea! Uh. It's fine? I guess.."
"OH! Great!"
She'd smile at me as I crosses my arms glaring up at her.
"Yo!! Katelyn hurry up!"
A girl said standing by the door that led to the gym.
"Coming sorry! Anyways, bye it was nice meeting you!"
She'd smile at me then walk out of the locker room.
I'd wave nervously at the tall girl holding the basketball. Katelyn huh..? I feel like I've seen her before.
Whatever it's probably just some classes we have together.
I yawn walking out into the gym room as the girls that Katelyn is friends with play basketball with her.
I like sports just not.. ball sports. Well, I'm the captain of the schools swim team after all so, I can't say I hate sports.
I put my earbuds in and start running around the gym taking laps. The sweaty gym teachers said if you weren't doing a sport you were running laps. So, I was.
"HEY WATCH OUT!"
"Huh? OH SHIT-"
suddenly a basketball comes running at my face hitting me right in the nose knocking me out cold.
