-Lavina's POV-

I don't understand how my dad could go so long without telling me. Nothing. I mean he sounded tired the last few weeks when I talked to him. He said it was about cases of missing persons and animal attacks. I knew it was more than just cases. I should have pushed more. What did Edweirdo do to make her like this? I mean how bad can the break up be? I need to get home and help dad out with her. I started packing my bags and booking my flight home. I also called Billy to say thank you and get a little more info. He didn't say much, just that he will talk to me when I get home and settled a bit.

~ Time Skipped~

Once off the plane and got my bags, I went looking for my dad. Seeing him I yell getting his attention and everyone else's.

"Pops!"

"Hey Princess. How are you doing?"

"I'm doing ok. Let's get you home, you look like you haven't slept in days."

"I haven't gotten much sleep. But let's head home and get you settled."

We headed to the car to go home. Just seeing my dad he looks horrible. Billy said it was bad but this is really bad. He has bags under his eyes and his hair is a mess. He also looks thinner since I last saw him . I understand he didn't wanna worry me but we promised to tell each other everything. Especially if it is something bad. Once we get home I send dad up to bed to sleep saying I'll wake him up for dinner. I also went and tried to deal with Bella. She looked worse than dad. She was really skinny so I could see some of her bones. She didn't even look at me. She had a distant look until I stepped in front of her then she glared at me. Me being me I was nice. I mean she is going through stuff.

"Hey Bella. How are you doing?"

"What are you doing here?"

She sounded mad.

"I came to help out dad and you."

"Dad doesn't need help and neither do I so fuck off."

He doesn't need help? She doesn't need help? What is she saying right now? It pisses me off on how she doesn't think dad needs help.

"What do you mean dad doesn't need help?"

"He's fine."

"Bella...get a hold of yourself. Dad looks like he hasn't slept in days. Looks like he hasn't eaten in days. I mean Billy told me a lot and I didn't think it was this bad but it's really bad Bella. I mean dad looks like he is dying. Hell even you look like it. I'll be damned if I sit here and watch you kill yourself and dad. Get off your butt and go shower. I will be changing and making dinner. I'll come and get you."

"Fuck you. Get. The. Fuck. Out. Of. My. Room."

I rolled my eyes and left her room. I'm not the type to demand things but when it comes to my dad I'm just different. I mean he is the only parent I have left. I got changed and started making dinner. Once it was done i woke Charlie up and went to get Bella but she refused to leave her room. So me and Charlie caught up.

(Lavina had her car delivered earlier. Jake also is not talking to Bella now)

The next morning Charlie and Bella were woken from their slumber to a smell they weren't used to. They both quickly got up and got dressed to search for this delicious smell.

"You smell that too?" Bella asked as she saw Charlie leave his room all dressed too.

"Mhm." Charlie mumbled still half asleep from a full night's rest. They both walked down the stairs and towards the kitchen where the smell was coming from.

They walked into the kitchen to see food on the table and Lavina at the stove cooking. "Princess, you didn't have to do this." Charlie said. Lavina jumped at the sound of his voice as she was lost in thought.

"Oh, I know but I wanted to. You need it, Pops." Charlie hugs Lavina and thanks her. Lavina quickly nudged him to the table to eat saying it was no issue at all. Bella glared at Lavina not liking that she got her fathers attention more than her. "Morning Bells. Come eat." Lavina says to Bella.

"It's Bella to you." Bella snapped at Lavina.

"Bella, be nice to your sister. Don't think I didn't hear what you said to her. That was very rude of you. She was just saying hi to you and to see how you are because she is worried about you." Charlie sternly told Bella. Bella studded there not saying anything wide eyed. Lavina was also looking at her dad wide eyed because she thought he was asleep. "Don't stand there looking at me like that Lav. I know I'm old but I don't have bad hearing. Now Bella apologies to your sister." Charlie said.

"No." Bella snapped and she ran upstairs to get ready for school. Charlie went to yell at her but Lavina stopped him saying it's ok and it's not worth it. We sat down and started to eat. "What are you doing today?" Charlie asked with his mouth full.

Lavina laughed and said. "I'm gonna go see Uncle Billy."

"Ok well be safe please I got to get to the station with all these cases coming in." He said as he got up to leave for work. Lavina remembers him telling her about the animal attacks.

"You be safe too pops." Lavina was worried about her father.

Charlie smirks at his daughter and says "Always am Princess. I love you."

"Love you too pops." Lavina starts to clean up the kitchen and runs upstairs to get ready.
