Chapter 17

Gianna's P.O.V

After the game it was like 8 pm. Danielle's mom had ordered a pizza. Everyone went to sleep because we are going back home tommorow. I went and grabbed two plates and 4 slices of pizza. Two for me and two for Danielle. I walked into me and Danielle's shared hotel room and sat on the bed. I handed her her plate and she thanked me. Danielle was flipping throught the television channel trying to find a good show. She finally found one and ate a slice of her pizza. I saw her phone lighting up and looked at it. I grabbed it from beside her and looked at who the text was from. It was from Dj. "Dj texted you"
She shrugged her shoulders and said "Ignore it for now." I nodded my head ok and put her phone down. I continue to watch the show The Fresh Prince of Bellaire with Will Smith. Me and Danielle love this show, we always watch it together. Danielle's phone lit up again telling her she has a new message. "Its from Dj again" I sigh.
Danielle giggles "He must need something" Danielle picked up her phone and read the message.
"Can I see too?" I asked her. Danielle nods her head yes and reads the messages.
Me and Danielle read the messages and it said Danielle!? I really needa talk to u
Danielle typed What's up Dj?
He answered Um do you think I mabey tell you in person.
Danielle: Dj... it is way past my curfew to be outside of the hotel room.
Dj: Come on Dan its important
Danielle: Dj! I cant get out this hotel room.
Dj: Come on Danielle. Just give me 10 minutes its all I need.
Danielle: I dont know Dj.
Dj: Please
Danielle: What if I get in trouble
Dj: Its gonna be fine. Stop being a goodie goodie for once and come on.

I gasped. "He knows I hate being called a goodie goodie." Danielle says with a sigh.

Danielle: Ugh fine. I will be there. Where do we meet.
Dj: Meet me by the pool I guess.
Danielle: ok see ya there.

"Your gonna go meet him aren't you?" I say with a sigh.
"Well I gotta keep my word" she paused " so I guess.... I . Will go" she got off the bed and walked to the room door. "If my mom or anyone wakes up please have my back Gia" with that she left.

Danielle's P.O.V.

I walked to the elevators and went to the first floor. Then I walked to the pool. I opened the gate to the pool and walked into the pool. I saw Dj and walked over to him. "What was so important that you needed to see me in person."
"I needed to tell you something"
"No. I did not know that" I say sarcastically. We both laughed.
"Well. Do you wanna sit my the pool and put our feet in the water?" Dj asked.
"Yah sure." We walked to the edge of the pool where we got a good look at the waterfall. It was beautiful. I took off my sandles and put my feet in the water. Dj took off his and did the same thing. "Ok" I paused "What's up? Its already been like 8 minutes and you still haven't told me what you needed."
" ok yeah right. Um. I wan-" he started.
"You have 1 minute." I say.
" Danielle. Are you seri-"
I interrupted him again "30 seco-" I say but i got interrupted by Dj smashing his lips on mine. I smiled. Why am I smiling!?!?
I feel Dj smirk into the kiss. I pulled away. "I like you still." He spoke, I just looked at him so he took it as a chance to speak again "Why cant I just have another chance change" he pushed a piece of my hair out of my face. I blushed slightly.
"Dj.... I know your gonna hate me for telling you this earlier"
"Im never going to hate you Danni"
"I have a b-boyfriend." I stuttered.
"Oh. " he looked at the water "Lucky guy" he says softly.
"Yeah. Look I have to go. I um. Will talk to you tommorow mabey?" I say drying my feet off and putting on my sandles.
" Want me to um. Mabey walk you to your room?" He asked me.
"Yeah sure. If you want" I shrug. Me and Dj walked to my hotel room. Haha thats a song. I started to hum the song hotel room by kid ink and chris brown. But anyway me and Dj walked to my hotel room in silence. I waited at my door so could say goodnight/ goodbye to him. "Here we are" I smile.
"Yes. Here. we are. I hope this doesn't change our friendship."
I frowned "Of course not Dj."
He smiles. "I gotta go now"
"Alright" he pulled me by the waist and hugged me. I hugged him back. I kissed his cheek and walked into my room locking the door quietly. I quietly snuck back to my room and saw Gianna on her phone probably texting Malak. "Your finally back" she yawned. "Yeah. Sorry took longer than i expected"
"It's fine" She smiled.
"What happened with you two?"
"Ummm"
