"Welcome abord, Evan.
We know how much you love art,
and you are always here on time.
Welcome to full-time,
in the Metropolitan Museum of Art."
Clapping and cheers came
from all around the room,
but what bothered me
was the fact that Paloma still hasn't came.
Thanks you guys,
I'm going to head home now.
I was ecstatic about working
in my dream job,
but I felt like I cheated.
Before heading out,
I see The Portrait of a Man.
Looking into his eyes,
I questioned whether if I was one or not.
Paloma stopped showing up
after I asked about her drinking.
Did she lie to me
when she confidently
told me she was going to recover?
