"I needn't tell you that dwarves are stupid.

As you had seen, they only swing, not even dodging our slow heavy spears."

The General's words were much a need in the situation.

The knights soared the sky with cheer, but the General wasn't so cheery.

"Knights, as we continue to scrape the sky,

We shall need observe caution and extinguish our fires.

For as if we use it, shall we be seen by the children of the dragon."

The knights murmured of such creatures,

Vermin that breach the cities when they are hungry.

Then eat the small and torture the tall.

And when they are full enough, they come chasing for the great hall.

The castle's interior was designed for battle and defense.

From twixt the halls, from twixt the arches.

Knights roam and defend the high, their strategies lethal to the birds.

And from there they flee, and come to their mother with many heads.

The knights knew of this uncanny.

And some wished to never encounter such gruesome creatures.

However, the General wished them not to be so scared.

For as with the genius of Issatur and the General;

Shall any situation be turned probable.

They ventured forth into the darkness, from where their light was gone;

There they heard the sound, a brutal song.

Not of a bird's but alike to the clashing of the blade against a wall.

Not a word was said, not a twitch was made.

They all cowered in fear for the children of dark red.

Their teeth were star-bright, their eyes absent, their ears moon-wide.

They were taller than the average man, their wings longer than a pike.

they had no nose; yet their touch was brilliant.

However, even the slightest twitch could be the death of a man.

The knights shuddered to its rotten breath. And disgusted by its long tongue.

But soon after, they left to soar the forest of dead trees at the bottom.

A sigh of relief swept the path, and they continued their trek.

The men of Issatur lived a life of luxury compared to the ones up.

And Issatur could be said the same, for as he hath to only watch,

To only see what occurs from afar. Where safety trembled not.

However, as fate deemed it so,

Safety was something that had now seemed far, far away.

Where first did it begin with a yell, "The children of the dragon are coming!"

And secondly did panic reign supreme in the camp where they yelled standing.

Issatur's face was unfazed. The screeches were nothing.
