{Chapter 04. Back to life}

{Scotts POV}

katherine and jimmy eventually left, though the floral taste stayed around.
The pain did end up dying down which i was greatful for
i ended up falling asleep for the rest of the night, which was a long time-

I woke up in the morning, still on the couch
Though thank Aeor i felt better-
I actually had enough energy to sit up today
Most people would be thinking "oh ill give it another day" or " eh itll probably come back-" 
but nope!
thats not how my brain works
i got up and got ready in my usual colorful attire and gold jewelry
I put in my like what.. uh.. more than eighteen earrings? (he still has his gorgeous elf ears so like- more piercings can fit)
I opened my door and saw owen opening up the tavern

"Morning Scott!!" owen called
"morning owen!!" i called back before heading over to my flower fields
"oh Aeor i didnt know two days would do this to them!!" i sighed before i was swarmed by little kids
"Hi Mr. Scott!!" a little girl called
"Ah, well good morning Caroline!" i picked her up and she spread out her arms before i put her down
"I hope you dont mind me and the village kids tried to water some of the flowers.. we noticed you werent in the fields so.. we thought we'd help! but uh.. we mightve missed a few" she rambled a bit
"hey Caroline, its alright! i appreciate your efforts dearly" i spoke and kneeled to her level

A shorter boy, Violet walked up to me, he had autism and was nonverbal, but was still the sweetest little boy ever
I knew the autism aspect, and being nonverbal from my child ages
(just my au! in which is mostly mentioned in my Highschool AU book! :D)

"Hey violet! ya need something?" i smiled and handed him a pocket notebook and pen
he wrote down

"Ah yes! Ill meet you at the flower shop in just two minutes alright?" i smiled
Violet nodded and skipped away, his pastel purple short hair blew gently in the winds
"Anyways, i appreciate the help dearly Caroline, and you all did a gorgeous job" i smiled
"Oh Oh!! and Mr. Owen taught us how to feed the Llamas!! it was so funn!!!" she smiled and twirled on her toes in excitement, her black, red and pink dress flowed as she spun
"Well im glad you had fun dear, me and owen will get started on breakfast for the village in a moment, i must go meet with violet and his father about the flowers for Mr and Mrs Evervines anniversary" i smiled
"Okay Mr. Scott!! tell Mr and Mrs Evervine to have a happy anniversary!!" she smiled and ran off

I walked along the red paths, thinking back to yesterday
Why do i still taste flowers?
and the metal taste never left either
both tasted absolutely awful
I forced myself to continue along though
a bad taste in my mouth is not going to let me alter my whole day
Eventually i made it to the flower shop, violet sitting on a bench, his legs swaying back and fourth as he fiddled with a pen between his fingers

"Good Morning Mr. Evervine!" i called, listening closely to the clank of my brown and gold studded heeled boots against the harsh red path
"Ah Good Morning Mr. Major! lovely morning today" he smiled, placing his hands in his pockets
"Agreed! Now, may you follow me inside? Ive already got your bouquet made!" i spoke proudly
"Ah yes! Violet, you coming bud?" he called and violet nodded, jumping off the bench and following 
"Now is there a type of ribbon you want or a certain wrapping?" i asked
"hey Vie, why dont you pick out what you think Momma would like?" Mr. Evervine spoke gently, violet nodded excitedly and came up to the counter, i moved the small stool out from under the counter for him to stand on, he jumped on visibly excited
"Alright, stay right here, ill go grab what i have!" i spoke and violet smiled widely
I grabbed out an array of colorful wraps and ribbons, laying them all out for violet to see
He pointed at a clear wrap with a beautiful white pattern on it, intricate like lace.
Then pointing to a white and pink ribbon
"Amazing choices darling!" i spoke proudly and he smiled, bouncing on the balls of his feet
"Ill get these wrapped up and you two can be on your way!" i called and grabbed the wrap and ribbon
"Thank you again Mr. Major, we greatly appreciate this" Mr. Evervine spoke
"No need to thank me Mr. Evervine! also please, Scott is fine!" i smiled
"I still greatly appreciate this Scott, i mean it. and i bet my wife will aswell" he exchanged a smile
"Well you did choose a gorgeous array of roses, i will say you have lovely taste" i spoke, finishing the wrapping 
"Would you like to tie the bow Violet?" i asked and violet audibly gasped before nodding excitedly
He grabbed the flower stems gently and tied the pink and white ribbon ever so gently around the stems 
"Well, you two can be on your way! Have a lovely Anniversary Mr. Evervine!" i smiled, handing him the flowers
"Thank you again scott, how much do i owe?" i questioned
"Free of Charge Mr. Evervine, i hope your wife loves the roses" i smiled and he gave me a warmhearted smile back
"thank you dearly Scott" he grabbed violets hand and the two walked out, towards the village
