Gray pov:

And he walks off, just like that. Sucks for him, because it'll never come true. I pack up the rest of my things and walk out of the printer room.

I walk up to my apartment door and hear two people talking. One is obviously Chase, but the second voice doesn't sound familiar. I open the door, to find Chase and some guy flirting with each other. "Oh, Gray. This is Echo, my old friend." He says, standing up from his bed. "Are you sure, you guys are just friends?" I ask, raising my brow and crossing my arms. Echo stands up and walks towards me. "Sorry if I just showed up out of nowhere." He says, bowing down before me. "No need to bow." I say, lifting him up.

"So you guys aren't dating?" I look over Echo's shoulder and see Chase mouth the word no. "No, we're just friends, for now." He says, quietly. I let a smile escapes on my face. "Go for it, but not now. Wait until I'm not here." I say, as I hold him by the shoulders. I big smile appears on his face. He walk past me and turns around to look at Chase. He waves before walking out of the apartment. "What did you two talk about, that made you smile?" Chase asks, as he walks closer.

"Nothing much. It was just a good talk." I shrug, and walk towards my bed. "Wow. Can today get more crazier." He says, falling onto his bed. "Since you're in a good mood. Do you think, you can come with me when I go get my little brother at the ice rink?" He asks, sitting up from his bed. "And you would I do that?" I ask, leaning against the wall, with my book open on my legs. "Oh, come on. You smiled today. You never smile." He says, waving his arms in the air.

"Fine, only because your brother is cute." I say, as I roll my eyes. "Yes, you won't regret it." He says, turning around towards his laptop.

Koa pov:

"My brother is almost here." Simon jumps up and down, as he twirls around on the ice. "Ok, Simon. Get some rest before he shows up." I keep my eye on him as he skates around me. "Hey little skater." I hear someone yell from behind me. "Brother." Simon skates towards his big brother. I look up and... Gray. I slowly skate towards them. Gray looks up, he seems shocked, but tries not to show it. He looks down at Simon. "Brother, brother. I want to show you my moves I learned today." He says, with a massive smile on his face.

"Who's that?" He asks, pointing towards Gray. "This is my friend." Simon's brother,  places his arm around Gray. I felt irritated for some reason. "Cool. Can you skate?" "Not everyone can sk-" Simon's brother gets cut off, "Only a little bit." Gray pinches Simon's cheek. "Really?" Simon's eyes light up as he stares at him. "But it's our little secret okay." He bends down and pokes the tip of his nose. He smiled. He actually smiled. That's a first. "Can you skate with me. Only for a bit." He asks, with a fake pout on his face.

"Only for a bit." He winks at Simon. His face lights up from excitement. "Koa, get this man some skating shoes." He points at the shoes in the corner. "Yes sir." I skate towards the shoes as Gray walks beside me. "So, you skate?" I ask. "I like to learn new stuff. So it was kinda a hobby for when I was fifteen." He says, looking at the ground. "Were you good at it?" I was interested to learn about him. "If coming first in every competition then maybe." He shrugs.

"Wait, you have medals?" I got excited. He nods. "Do you know where to look or do you-" "Found some." He grabs a pair. He puts them on and climbs onto the ice. He skates towards Simon and his brother. "Okay, now show me your moves." His brother says. "Ok, you try and copy me." Simon skates towards the middle of the ice ring, with Gray following him. "This one is called the Layback." Simon spins a few times and doing it better then this morning, but it still needs some work.

"Ok, your turn." He places his hands on his hips. Gray nods. He gets ready to spin. He takes a deep breath and slowly let's it out. He skates on the ice and starts to spin. My jaw dropped on how perfect he does it. Until the end stumbles over his feet. I get ready to go help him, but he catches himself. He stops spinning, placing his hands on his knees. "Hey you good?" I skate towards him. I place my hand out. "A little rusty, but good." He grabs it unknowingly. He squeezes it as he stands up straight looking into my eyes, with the smallest smile.

He looks down at out hands and pulls away. He says nothing and skates towards Simon. I stand here, speechless. I skate towards the others. "Did you see. He did amazing." Simon jumps up and down, whilst holding my hands. "Yes I did see. He was perfect." A slight smile appears on my face as I look up at Gray. He turns his face away from my direction, but he looks at Simon's brother. I never liked his brother, so I never bothered to know his name. But now I don't like him even more.

Why is Gray looking at him and not at me. He needs to be looking at me.

The thoughts at the back of my head. But the idea of him looking at him, irritates me. And I want to know why.
