Vanessa had made me sit down on the chair in the security room and were now looking around in the cabinets around the room. My eyes followed her smooth moves and I couldn't help but feel excited. It was strange.. I'd never felt like that before.
Vanessa straightened her back and returned to me with a emergency box in her hands. She moved the keyboard a bit out of the way and placed the box on the table in front of me.
I gazed up to her and watched her open the box up and search for whatever she would plaster on me.. yeah, Vanessa was really pretty. I didn't know if I should be jealous or what. This woman definitely did get a lot of attention..

The cops eyes suddenly caught me staring and I quickly turned my head away and felt my ears heat up a bit in embarrassment. 'Shit' Getting caught gazing at Vanessa felt like.. well, it wasn't supposed to happen!

I heard an amused chuckle from the officer like it somehow were funny to her.. oh, it wasn't funny at all. I felt extremely embarrassed.

"If you're gonna stare at me, then don't make it that obvious.." Vanessa smiled and pulled up some hand sanitizer from the box while I was biting the inside of my cheek while my leg nervously vibrating. 'Fuck you..' I fought with the sudden heatwave that hit my face. I guessed it were because I was embarrassed.

"Y/n look at me"

My head tilted upwards towards Vanessa without hesitation, but my eyes wasn't meeting hers. Somehow I was feeling nervous, extremely nervous. I couldn't keep eye contact with her, I just knew it.
This feeling, it was really horrible!!! I hoped it would go away soon..
Vanessa leaned a bit over me while brushing my hair away from my face. She gently pressed something against the wound on my forehead and I frowned slightly when the burning feeling of the sanitizer cleaning my open wound hit me.

Suddenly a terrifyingly loud noise burst out from deeper inside the building causing me to jump up from the chair. Vanessa lost her balance and I watched her fall backwards towards the screens and security stuff on the table. I took a step forward quickly and wrapped my arm around the officers waist, but I wasn't quick or strong enough to prevent her from bumping into the table, but I prevented it from hurting. My other hand slammed down in the table behind her as I leaned over her breathing heavily.
My eyes caught something move on the screen behind Vanessa and my attention jumped from the officer's eyes to the screen behind her.
My eyes didn't catch much of what the fuck was moving on the hallway before the screen went black, but I knew that that wasn't normal, not at all. That couldn't have been a human, a human didn't look like that.

"What the fuck was that"  I breathed out and felt my ability to move disappear.

Vanessa seemed to realize what was going on and before I knew it she were pushing herself forwards and I was forced to step backwards as she stood up. Her hand suddenly rested on her gun as her eyes were locked on the open security door.

"Vaness-"

"shhh"

"Vanessa I saw something move-"

Vanessa approached me, removing her hand from her gun and placed it over my mouth and forcing me down on the chair. The green eyes glared directly down into my own and I felt how my heart was racing and the cold sweat creep out on my body. I'd seen something, something move. I wasn't crazy, I knew I'd seen it.
I lifted my hands up and tried to remove Vanessa's hand from my mouth but her other hand took a firm grip of my wrist and pinned them down on my lap as she leaned a bit over me.
Vanessa herself was breathing slightly heavier and for a moment it felt like time froze. Our eyes was locked into each other, mine panicked and Vanessa's calm.
