Regulus Black was on, what anyone but him would call, a mission. Except, all he was doing was getting school supplies so no one was completely sure why he looked so serious and tense.

The small groups first stop, after visiting Gringotts and everyone getting the needed money, was Flourish and Blotts Bookseller. They all walked inside, there were a few young kids mucking about, nothing unusual of course. Regulus went off on his own as the Marauders and the Potters went off to get the boys books.

The young man pulled out his Hogwarts list for school supplies. He glanced it over and walked around the bookstore as he looked for the books he needed. He found them fairly quickly, he was sure the owners of the bookshop had charmed the store to have what books you need in one little area together.

With a small sigh, though he wasn't sure why, he grabbed the pile of books, 5 in total, and walked over to the register. The young wizard there scanned his books, he looked to be only a few years older than Regulus himself; probably a recent graduate or someone in their last year of school.

The wizard, whose name tag lovingly reads (Lovingly because little hearts were drawn on the name tag) Theodore. He sends Regulus a friendly smile, ringing him up on the ancient register.

"3 galleons and 12 sickles and 17 knuts is your total, love," Theodore says in a rather thick Danish accent with same smile. Regulus grabs his money pouch from his pocket and digs through it, pulling out the correct amount. He placed it on the counter and Theodore swept it up and into the register. "Thanks. Did you want a shrinking charm on those for 8 sickles and 3 knuts?"

Furrowing his brows, Regulus digs into his pouch again, pulling out exactly 9 sickle and 4 knuts. He put it on the counter and Theodore grinned widely. "Cheers." The older boy counts the money and tells him he had extra.

"Keep the change," Regulus mumbles, finally speaking to Theodore who looked rather happy to hear his voice. But he nodded and put the money in the register again. Then the boy pulled out his wand as Regulus notes internally that he can hear his brother and his friends near. Theodore, with his wand, casts a small charm on Regulus' books and they shrink as if they were nothing. Regulus can't help but smile softly at the display, he always did love magic. He carefully picked up the now mini books.

"Should wear off by tomorrow. Say, do ya go to Hogwarts?" Theodore asks with a smile, leaning against the counter with his arms. Regulus noticed his sleeves were pulled up to his elbows, revealing his forearms that had veins protruding out slightly. Regulus bit his bottom lip and nodded. Theodore grins, "Ya don't talk much, do ya?" Regulus shook his head in response. "Could I write ya sometime?"

Now, this is very important to note that Regulus Black, in all of his 14 years of age has never ever even been looked at in such a way that Theodore was doing—at least, not to his knowledge and he almost always knew.

"Uh... I'm 14," Regulus mutters, thinking his young age would be a surprise. Yet Theodore didn't even seem bothered.

"And I'm 17, love. Can I write ya?"
