It had been a busy day at the daycare. Sun and Moon were arguing over what movie they should watch that night, Monty was trying to pry open the daycare doors (to visit their true love of course), Earth was getting ready for movie night, and Lunar was cuddled up in a blanket whilst listening to Earth's remarks on her brothers.

"I just don't understand why they cannot get along regularly. They never seem to bother you or me with their remarks. Lunar?"

"Hmph. I dunno," he replied.

Earth stopped brushing her hair and quietly turned towards her little brother.

"Lunar," she started,

"I seem to have noticed you've been rather odd lately. You did just return from a horrific experience yes, but, is everything alright? You can talk to me, you know," she said softly. Lunar forced the blanket over his head, trying to avoid the conversation.

"I'm fine. Just tired, that's all," he said bluntly.

Earth moved closer towards him, trying not to alarm him, but also be physically affectionate towards the small bundle.

"I am your sister you know, you don't have to hide anything from me. I want to understand you more, but to do so, I need you to talk to me."

"I know. That's the problem," he mumbled.

Earth set down her brush and moved yet closer to Lunar.

"I beg your pardon? Sorry you said that into the pillows I think," she replied. Lunar curled into a ball, cuddling Spigot.

"I said I'm fine. Why do you care so much anyway?" he asked, annoyed.

Earth was taken aback by the statement, and tried again, trying to be more sympathetic.

"Well, I want you to accept me as your new sister, and I want to help you with whatevers troubling you. I know how you feel, after all."

The second she said it, she knew it was the wrong choice of words. Lunar sat up and stared at her, a small but powerful glare in their eyes.

"What do you know about my feelings or not being accepted?." He said through gritted teeth.

"Well I-"

"Well you what? You one day waltzed in here, and the moment Sun and Moon laid their eyes on you, you were family. No questions asked, no explanation, all you needed was a small note from your creator and that was it. What could you possibly know about being neglected, stabbed, smacked, punched, or not accepted."

Earth was mortified. Sun had warned her to be calm and not touch Lunar unless he was comfortable, but the only thing she thought of was hugging him tightly. She wanted to embrace him until all his tears had fallen and every fear in his world had disappeared.

"You have absolutely no right to say it's hard to be you."

She moved close.

"You don't have to try, I had to wait months before getting accepted by Sun."

She leaned in.

"Do you know how hard it was? I had to apologize, I had to work my ass off to not get killed by my brother, and all you had to do was show up." She grabbed his shoulder.

"Hey! What the hell-"

She squeezed him tight, making him unable to move or talk.

He screamed, and yelled, but she didn't let go. Not until Moon broke down the door with Sun angrily cursing Moon's name under his breath.

"Earthhhhhhhhh Sun and I made a bet. Which do you prefer to watch tonight, Pocahontas or-"

Earth quickly released Lunar who was busy trying to catch his breath. It had been so long since his last relapse, and he thought he had been doing so well...

"LUNAR. OH MY GOODNESS ARE YOU ALRIGHT?" Sun yelled. Sun ran over to the hyperventilating figure, putting his hand around his chest.

"Lunar? Hey, can you hear me? It's Sunny. It's your brother. Calm down, okay? Breathe, please breathe, just breathe okay? Lunar-" Lunar smacked Sun's hand away and backed up.

"I SAID I'M FINE. Just discuss your movie. Me and Spigot are going on a run," he said. Lunar stood up slowly, exiting the room in a huff. Just then, Monty ran into the room.

"Gasp H-hey guys gasp did I mi-miss something?" they said, out of breath.

Earth buried her head into Moon's neck, Sun stood in shock of what happened, and Moon glared at the gater.

"Are you fucking kidding me?"
