Humming

Cody's POV

Duncan and me kept fighting back and forth on who was right and who was wrong. That is until we started hearing humming.

"What was that?" I asked looking around the dock. "I don't know, but it's best not to go and see." Duncan replied. The humming kept on going. "It sounds like its coming from the water." I said looking back at Duncan.

"Well, then we got to get away-" Duncan was about to finish, until I started jolting over close to the water to go see what was causing all the humming. The closer I got the more my eyes grew in shock I can't believe it.

Duncan's POV

I saw Cody disappear into the fog on the left side of the deck we are on. Suddenly the humming went quite, and I didn't heard from Cody, which was very odd.

I decide to go and see if he was alright, after all I don't want to be the cause for someone else's death. Yeah I know I said it wasn't my fault for Noah's death, but I actually try to denied the fact it was my fault, mainly cause Noah's death hunts me.

Wants I made it to were Cody was, I looked around and couldn't see him, cause of the fog and because he wasn't there. "Cody!" I yelled but no response. "Cody, dude this isn't funny!" He still wasn't responding.

"Cody, come on out this ,isn't funny at all," I said, still no response, "you know what you want the truth right, okay then here's the truth just come on out," I bargained, knowing the truth is all he wants to hear come out of my mouth.

"Look Cody I know it's my fault why Noah died, the whole reason I kept denying it, was because I didn't wanna keep remembering that I was the cause for someone's death, and if I did some how got to see Noah I will mostly see if he could forgive me, so please come on out," I yelled knowing that Cody got the truth he wanted to hear.

"So you finally admit that your the reason why Noah is dead," Cody said popping his head out from under the water. "Yeah, and why are you in the water?" I asked, looking at him, his hair was drenched wet, and so was clothes, as he climbed out.

"I was chilling with Noah," he said which confused me. "Isn't he dead?" I asked, but then someone's head popped out of the water, his hair was also wet, he had a knife stuck in his shoulder. "Noah!?" I said in complete shocked, at the fact Noah is right there, but how?

"Yeah, it's me, right here in the flesh, and if you ask I am infact deadz it's just my ghost that you are you seeing," Noah says, getting out of the water. "Hey Courtney, did you come here to see your boyfriend," he said putting his hand up, as a greeting.

"Noah he's not my boyfriend!" A familiar voice yelled. I turn led around to see who I was expecting to see Courtney, her face was red as a tomato, and she looked to be in rage, on what Noah said earlier.

"Denial is an river in Egypt sweetheart," Noah commented, rolling his eyes. "I'm not in denial!" Courtney screamed, she seems abit annoyed. "Well right now, your swimming in it," Noah remarked.

"You know what, Duncan I missed you," she says as she hugs me. I hugged back, after all I missed her. "In all these years, I'm reunited with you," I said trying to fight back tears.

"Anyways what are you two doing here?" Noah asked, looking abit curious on what just happened. "Well Gwen dropped us off here, for a 'team bonding exercise'" Cody said doing the whole air quotes thing.

"Why did she drop you guys here?" Courtney asked. "Well she did say that the killer has finally been caught," Cody mentioned. "The killer might have been caught, but you still got to watch out for the others," Noah said, which made me and Cody abit worrisome.

"What about the others?" Cody asked, questioning on wether, Gwen made a good decision, to leave us here. "The others could possibly kill you," Courtney mentions, which made me abit took in back.

"Wait why!?" Cody asked, he looks to be freaked out. "Shh, keep quiet and come with us," Noah said grabbing Cody's arm and pulling him somewhere, while Courtney grabs my hand, and motions her head, for me to follow her. I did follow her, but where are they taking us?
