I woke up in my king size bed, I had slept naked in the baby pink silk sheets. I felt so alive.
"We don't have school for a week!" Olivia told me, getting out of bed, also naked. I laughed.
"Good!"
I put on some sweatpants and a sports bra and went into the kitchen. I saw Kenny and his mother making a huge breakfast.
"What's for breakfast? Smells good." I yawned.
"Bacon, eggs, and toast with raspberry spread!" His mother, who I learned her name was Joanna, exclaimed.
"I'll go wake up Tyler and Mandy!" I said running to their room and pushing them off their beds.
"Breakfast!"
We all ate happily and told stories of our past lives. We all laughed and had a blast together.
"Well, I'm going to go outside and take it in." I quickly went to the bathroom and out on some light makeup and tossed my hair into a bun and slipped on my UGGs.
As I had pushed open the door and started down the cobble road I ran into a man.
"Excuse me." He said.
"I'm sorry!" I exclaimed.
Then I looked at him.
He was...
Hot.
He had a cigarette at the end of his lips.
"It's quite alright." He smirked.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"I'm Collin, and who might you be?"
"Alaska." I said.
"Alaska have you ever smoked?"
"Yeah, but it was a while ago..."
He pulled out a pack of fancy menthols and put it in between my lips. He took out his lighter and lit it. I breathed in, took it out, and puffed out. I started coughing so he started lightly hitting my back. "You alright?"
"Just fine." I laughed.
"Well, Alaska, may I see you again sometime?"
"Of course." I said, giving him my number. He smiled.
"Goodbye, Collin. Thanks for the light." I turned around and headed back toward the hotel.
I ran into Mr. Jones. "You smell like smoke, young lady. I hope you didn't bring anything illegal.
"I didn't. I just ran into someone who was smoking."
"Good, otherwise we'd have to have some problems." He smiled and I walked up to my room.
"What're you all getting ready for?"
"Why are you still wearing a sports bra?" Tyler smirked.
"We're checking out the city!" Mandy said.
I raised my eyebrows. "Have fun."
"You smell like smoke..." Tyler said.
"Just someone I met."
"Was he cute at least?"
"I dunno. Go have fun!" I laughed.
"Wear protection!" Joanna laughed softly. I shook my head and nodded, laughing.
"Of course."
I grabbed my card and went downstairs and outside. I looked around for a Starbucks, and when I finally found one I walked in.
"Why are you only wearing a sports bra?" A snooty girl asked.
"Why do you care?" I asked.
She scoffed. "Shielding my eyes atm."
I rolled my eyes and went up to the front desk. I bought caramel mocha with a squirt of honey. I started sipping on it as I left. I walked down the street and passed a small group of guys who kept staring at me.
"Hey! Blondie! Come here and get a taste of this."
I quickened my pace and walked back to the hotel. I then asked the manager if they allowed pets, and they said if it was ten pounds or under.
I'm getting a pet.
