Chapter 17

Brie's POV

Total Divas has been going pretty good, it's definitely a great season. We didn't have any major events happen so I don't know how  much Vince will like that, but that means it's just setting up for next season to be the best one ever right? I guess we do have a few more days left something crazy could happen and leave everyone begging for a season expansion.

John and Nikki's storyline has had an amazing crowd following. The first week started with John's match against Randy which John pulled off the win over the champion, which of course means he gets a title match and at Money in the Bank he got that match and wasn't as lucky. He got distracted when Paige attacked Nikki and John being how he is didn't like that happening so as he went to stop it Randy hit him with a steel chair, ending the match as a disqualification. So yes, he won the match but didn't win the title. At Monday Night Raw their was a segment with a big fight and that lead to a mixed tag team match which John and Nikki lost. The week after that, so the week before Battleground, Vince announced that there would be a divas championship match at Battleground. Which of course Nikki won! She is an amazing champion and with John by her side she is going to be extra motived. Honestly though, I don't want a storyline with Bryan. I feel it could be dangerous for our relationship, but I could be wrong I don't know. There has been relationships in the past that have gone downhill, and then there is those like Hunter and Stephanie, so I really don't know, but for sure I don't want one for awhile.

Now that its a month after the whole incident with Eve and Ava, it means they are coming back. Vince said this storyline is going to be great and it will be hard for them to mess it up, but he is thinking about firing them now after the storyline. So, for Nikki and I, we love that idea.

"Brie!" Nikki comes in screaming.

"What do you want?"

"Vince wants us, like, now."

"For what?" Ok, now this is kind of concerning.

"If I knew I wouldn't be rushing you as much so let's go." Nikki freaks out and grabs my arm to drag me out.

Nikki's POV

"Hey Vince."  We both smile.

"Hello ladies, now I've called you in here to talk about a new storyline." Vince proceeds.

"But what about my storyline with John? I thought we were putting it on hold until we found out about Paige's injuries?"  I question.

"Yes, we are, but we can't have the divas champion sit quietly and wait. What if Paige's injuries are worse then we believe? We need to have a storyline ready for you to continue with."

"So, what you are saying is, if Paige is really hurt, my storyline with John is over?"

"I'm not going to lie, it could very easily be until the scrip writers figure something else out for you two. We cannot forget about you two however, the fans took an extremely strong liking to you guys as a couple and we don't want to lose that vibe off of you." Vince explains.

"Ok, so what's the new storyline?" Brie asks.

"You will have a small storyline, just up to Summer Slam, against Eve and Ava."

"What!" I scream.

"I know, I know you don't see eye to eye with them, but I feel that will make this one of the best storylines of the year! True hate, true passion! You girls can do it, you are some of my best divas best wrestlers in the company, I trust you two. Don't let me down."

"We won't, but I can't speak for Eve and Ava." I huff making Brie full out laugh.

"Sorry!" She squeaks.

"It's ok," Vince laughs it off. "but like I have said, let me take care of them."

"Ok." I smile.

"Again, I'm sorry, and thanks for the storyline." Brie shakes his hand.

"Aw, Brie, you're so polite, and then there's Nikki."

"Hey!" I am offended.

"I'm just messing with you. John and Bryan are both extremely lucky men." Vince laughs.

"Yes they are." I laugh with him.

"Bye Vince, see you next week." Brie drags me out.
