Our heroes are hearing a report about a sailor who was saved by a Kairyu. The man says it's not uncommon to hear about Kairyu rescuing shipwrecked people. Ash was wondering if he could see one. Yuma quickly prostrates that although Kairyu is a famous Pokémon, it is also a extremely rare one. The assistants help to prove the blue haired boy's point, revealing that humans are not even sure what is their natural habitat. Director Cerise mumbles about a rumor of an island where only Kairyu live. Go shows is Smartphone Rotom, showing the last reports about Kairyu saving people, and it seems they are all concentrated in a specific area, where the trio will head for.

In a ship on the ocean

They are looking at a suitcase, full of Pokéballs, which belong to Go.

Yuma: ...-_-... I get that we're going to an island full of Kairyu, but is it really necessary to bring that many Pokéballs...?

Go: Well, of course I would be excited! I intend to complete Miniryu's entire evolutionary line!

Finally, they arrive at the docks. Go thought about renting a boat to go to the island, but thinks better and prefers to catch a Pokémon, showing there are Dewgong around the area. They left to catch them. Not far from there, Team Rocket was observing the trio.

Back to our heroes, they can finally see a Dewgong...

Go tries to catch it, but fails. The boy tries 1 more time, to fail again. Go doesn't give up and continues to throw more Pokéballs to Dewgong, all of the attempts ending in failure. Go and Dewgong continued to do this for a while, until the wild Pokémon lets itself get caught.

Go: Finally... I caught it...

Yuma: Well done, Go! Now, let's go to Kairyu's island! Come out, Gaburias!

Gaburias: Gar!

Go: Huh!?!?!? You could go all this time!?

Yuma: And leave you behind? Sure I could. But my Gaburias can only take two people. One of us would stay here...

Ash: I see... That makes sense...

Yuma: Now, shall we go?

Ash and Go are riding Dewgong on the sea, while Yuma is on Gaburias's back, on the air. Suddenly, the water-ice Pokémon speeds up, leaving Go and Ash confused. Yuma sees another Dewgong.

Yuma: ...-_-... Seriously... Now of all the times...?

Go: There's another one over there! Wait... Don't tell me...

Ash: What?

Yuma: He has fallen in love...

Ash: ...0_0... Eh!?!?!?

Yuma: 'Good luck, you two. You will need it...'

In front of them, black clouds can be seen. Yuma doesn't go back, since he has to look out for his friends. Go's Dewgong lost the female one, making him saddened. Go orders him to turn back, to no avail, now that he is depressed.
