On days like this if I asked, would you come around and stay with me
We can travel and explore together
A new experience for our eyes to see

Or parade in the streets acting totally insane

A place where we can be our true selves
Somewhere we don't have to pretend to be someone else

So this is what it feels like to smile instead of frown
Happiness instead of misery
Come join me be as happy as can be
