Back at the bunker

After the prom, N walks back to the bunker alone, because Uzi had to go back to her apartment with her dad. N just walks in the snow back to the bunker, just thinking of the fun he had with V at the prom. N just wishes it could've lasted a bit longer.

N finally reaches to the bunker and climbs inside. N just sits in the chair, spinning, not knowing what to do.

Creak....

Suddenly, V climbs into the bunker, still in her shimmery dress. V climbs in, still not noticing N in there. N stops spinning, not wanting to startle V, knowing that V will be upset at him if he did accidentally startle V.

V: well, that lame party is finally done...time to relax- ah!! N! What the hell?! You scared the shit out of me!

V jumps back a little, not expecting to see N when she turned around.

N: Ah! I-Im sorry V!! I didn't mean to scare you, I swear!

V: ugh, whatever...

N and V both change back into their normal uniforms. (They're robots, don't make it weird) And they both sit in the bunker awkwardly, not knowing what to do or say.

N: So V...The prom was nice, right?

V: I guess, it was kinda lame. You're lucky I decided not to reck the entire prom and just hanged out! I only killed 2 workers when no one was looking..!

N: yeah I can tell...

N looks over at the two dead worker drones in the corner of the bunker.

N: did you enjoy all of the attention V?

V: It was nice at first, seeing everyone call my name and give me compliments, but eventually it got annoying with everyone's eyes on me... Didn't give enough time to kill more than 2 people!!

N laughs softly

N: It was pretty funny seeing everyone crowding you and stuff!

V blushes in embarrassment

V: I-It wasn't funny!!

N: Yes it was! ...a little..well not really, but still..!

V: ugh...well, how was the prom for you N?

N: I really enjoyed it! Since I was with you...~

N blushes as he says that, V too.

V: oh shut up N...~

N: okay..sorry...

V has a small smile on her face.

V: okay maybe it was a little funny...

N: I told you!

Both N and V laugh a little, enjoying each other's company together. N and V continue to talk for a while, they both seem to be lost in conversation. It's like nothing else matters to them besides themselves.

V's mind: "I love talking to N...wait..why am I so happy?! I'm supposed to be tough, and here I am, talking to N like he's my friend! Which...he's not! What has gotten into me?

N's mind: I love talking to V...Shes so beautiful and stuff...if only she liked me back...Why do I like her so much?! ...Well at least I get to spend time with her...I wonder how Uzi's doing..but I think I could focus on V all day...

V's mind: I can't keep talking to N, it'll make me look soft and weak! I don't have time for happiness...o-or love...which I'm not feeling! Love is for weaklings! I gotta stop having this wonderful- I mean stupid conversation with N!!

V stops talking and looks annoyed. N notices this and looks confused and saddened that the conversation had ended so suddenly.

N's mind: huh..? W-Why did V suddenly stop talking? We were having such a nice conversation together...but now V looks annoyed..did I do or say something wrong? No..that can't be it but...Is V upset at me? Why are women so confusing?

N: w-whats wrong V..?

V: nothing, now shut up N!

N: but- sigh..I-I'll shut up now...anything for you...

V looks away from N, but she feels a little bad for yelling at N..

V's mind: that was a little harsh, I think I hurt his feelings...who cares if I look weak or not...

V: oh um...I didn't mean to yell...at you...

N looks up at V

N: y-you didn't..?

N looks happy

N: I-I'm so glad! I-I thought I made you upset or something! I was so worried!

V: s-sorry..

N: you know V, you're being surprisingly nice today, I like that!

V softly blushes

V: oh be quiet...

N chuckles as he continues talking with V. He looks so happy, and so does V...

Hours eventually pass and N and V get tired...

V: what time is it..?

N: it's...2:14..!?

V: H-Have we been talking for that long?!

N: I guess so...

N softly blushes

N: well we should be going to sleep then..

V and N go outside of the base to sleep in the shade, hanging upside down, kinda close to each other...
