Growing up I was always alone, no mother figure and a father that was in and out of his alcoholic ways destroyed me. I guess one could say I have abandonment issues with an addition to a lot of other things.

So I'm not going to sit here and say that I don't miss having the company of Vincent but if he preferred me to stay out of his life then so be it, although the situation does have me questioning if it was more than just me being in danger that pushed him away since he was willing to give me his number, but I digress.

While spending hours of shopping and apartment hunting, I finally found my dream one. Me and Jordan found a spacious three bedroom and two bathroom apartment.

It had the color scheme of grays, blacks, and whites that created a perfect blend, and although it was perfect, it sure was costly but nonetheless I brought it.

After me and Jordan decided to go get some Chinese takeout and relax for the day until it was time for the party. "So when do you want to go get your stuff from the house" Jordan says, while stuffing his mouth with a shrimp egg roll.

"Honestly, I'm not sure if I want to go back" turning towards him he gives me an understanding look and begins to look for a movie. "But I know I will have to because there's one thing I do plan on taking" I say smiling.

"So we probably can go the weekend since we're both off this upcoming Sunday." This would give me enough time to suppress my feelings towards the man I once called my father, after all it was only Wednesday.

He nods and smiles at my sudden interest to go back. Finishing up my egg roll and orange chicken I throw my plate in the trash while Jordan cleans up the rest of the mess. "How about we get dress for the party?" I nod, and we go our separate ways.

Getting dress, I pull out a short rich white  spaghetti strap dress that I brought while shopping earlier and pair it with some silver accessories.

"Jor? I need your help tying the back of my dress" I yell, hoping he would hear me, a couple minutes later he comes in tying my dress. "Thanks" "You're welcome, now hurry up with you hair before we're late"

Doing my hair I decide to do a half up half down with my hair slicked back into a ponytail leaving the rest of my curls to hang lose, now I was ready but not before I sprayed my Chanel CoCo perfume.

"Ok now remember, I don't want anything crazy going down so let's stick together" Jordan says, while stepping out of the car. I nod and following him to the entrance.

Music blasting, people all over the front lawn with red plastic cups is all that could be in sight, but walking in was euphoric. Party lights heading in each direction, people grinding and dancing on each other, and a table of finger foods with alcoholic beverages.

"Hey let's go over there" Jor manages to say over the loud music, while pointing to a sign labeled V.I.P. "But that says V.I.P and we damn sure aren't" I protest. "Lana the party host are the damn kids from our high school" he says, pulling me.

Crossing over the V.I.P band that was set up, I notice all the people from my old high school and damn did they look bad, maybe it was the alcohol getting to their system or the fact that they were ruthless bullies and got their karma.

"Hey look there's Jordan and the girl he was always with" a tall guy manages to slur over from the alcohol, but of course they wouldn't remember my name. "It's Alana" I say, trying to bring up his memories of me because he sure did have some.

"Oh yeah, the quiet girl that me and my friends use to bully- it's nice seeing you again" the guy, who's name I remembered to be Liam says, but it sure wasn't good to see him again, flashing him a small smile I go to sit next to Jordan.

"How about we all play truth or dare?" A blonde girl stammered, while holding her red cup of alcohol. "That would be great babe" Liam says, while giving me wink, yuck.

"Do you want to Alana? Because we can go back" Jordan uttered while pointing out of the V.I.P section. I shake my head no insisting that we should play.

I was going to need a lot of drinks after this game. "Ok I'll go first Jayden truth or dare." Liam's girlfriend says, "Dare" he responds, sounding completely sober and somewhat
irritated.

"I dare you to lick whip cream from off of Blair's neck" she says smiling, knowing the whole love triangle Blair had with Jayden as her ex and Santiago as her boyfriend; nonetheless he walked over to Blair placed the whip cream on the center of her neck and sucked it off leaving a hickey, all while Santiago watched in disbelief.

"Who's next?" Liam asks while looking around, then his eyes caught Jordans. "Truth or dare Jordan?"

"Truth" Jordan replies, while sipping on some alcohol. Liam laughs, "is it true that you only became friends with Alana because you felt bad that she was new and didn't have friends?"

Jor looks at me. "Partially.. In the beginning I did only become friends with her because I felt bad but as our friendship developed I realized how special she actually was." looking at him, I couldn't help but feel backstabbed.

Caught in my thoughts about what Jordan had just said, I was pulled back to reality by Liam's girlfriend. "Okay Alana, you're the last one truth or dare?"

"Dare". Jordan freezes and looks at me, "you don't have to, Alana" rolling my eyes, I continue my focus back on the game.

"I dare you, to walk up to Matteo and make out with him then give him your number" Matteo?. Where have I heard that name from, pushing my thoughts aside I walk up to Matteo and begin to enact my dare.

Kissing passionately,  I come back to my senses and look him in the eyes, Fuck. I knew that name sounded familiar, it's Vincent's friend.

Turning around I saw everyone watching in disbelief, but there was only one last part to finish the dare. Getting his number. "Hey Matteo-" but before I could finish out my sentence he was gone.
