The silence between them that seems to come in frequent waves is heavy over their heads. Jungkook leans on his thighs, hands lined up and covering his nose and mouth. His eyes itch from the unstopping flow of tears, heart throbbing with heavy aches.

Eventually someone has to say something.

"Are you okay jungkook ?" Tae said with a low voice.

Jungkook presses his lips together, unable to meet his eyes.

Tae doesn't say anything, and when jungkook finally looks up, Tae face is blank, deprived of any feelings. Only his dark brown eyes are staring at jungkook, and they're shiny. When he opens his mouth it's barely a whisper.

"I'm not okay, I'm in lot of pain,it hurts Taehyung."

The silence is eerie this time. Jungkook skin prickles, shivers jolting down his spine. It feels like the silence before the end, when everything just stops being. Jungkook covers his eyes with his hands. It's when jungkook felt helpless he felt he's the weakest person in the world.

When the world crumbles at your feet, there's a moment where you feel like you're floating before the fall. That in-between perception of gravity can be blissful for just a second in time, the duration being shorter than a shallow breath.

But if you're scared of the fall, the preemptive moment of floating is the only second you have to grab onto anything to stop you from the plummet. It's a moment where you believe you can still be saved. Any hand, any rope-you just need to grab something in the hope it all turns out okay. It's a moment of desperation, mercy. True colours come forward in that pinocle moment of floating.

Until you fall..

Taehyung hold jungkook face to lift his head & made him look in his eyes that's when jungkook heart claim he felt he's really safe now, safe in his arms. After a
while jungkook hold taehyung hand & said

"You're like a lightning bug." He stated.

"You think I'm an insect?" I frowned.

"Let me explain." He took my frigid hands in his. I almost pulled away, but stopped myself. "People love lightning bugs because they glow right? But do they know that we love them so much? These bugs glow because it's what they were born to do. They don't know any other way of life. When little kids go out in the fields hunting for fireflies, they put them in jars because they want to make a little home for them. They want to love them. But the lightning bug sees that kid as a monster. That jar is like a death sentence for them. But they don't realize the reason we put them in the jar."

"I don't understand what that has to do with me." I tried my best not to get flustered by his hands fiddling with the beaded bracelet around my wrist. It was the one he made for me. It happened to match my outfit that day.

"You're a lightning bug Taehyung. You glow unconditionally." He looked at me with sad eyes. "I just wanted to tell you that not everybody has a jar."

Taehyung's eyes tear up at the words jungkook said his heart melts as butter he felt so much happiness, he was proud that he didn't make a wrong choice at least he didn't give up on him he was glad for everything.

Taehyung pov..

I satre at jungkook face for a while then
I lift my hand to his, holding it against my face. "Promise me this won't fade."

"What won't fade?"

"All of this," I clarify.

"It could never," he assures me, rubbing his thumb over my cheek. "No matter what happens, this moment will always be important to me. You will always be important to me."
