heyhey !! im not done with this morning's ramblings so it's 00:33 AM and i'm ready for more fuckers !! (so mind mistakes 😭)

(crack shipper) analysis on why i think "see you again" by the epic hiphop / pop duo tyler, the creator and kali uchis is *GIYUSHINO's* song. (i mean that full stop), btw i have no idea what tyler's and probably eben kali's genre is so excuse me for a second. anyways let's get into it;

now MANGA SPOILERS OH MY FUCKING GOD. read the manga man it's not even that bad of a read cmon now, i'll recommend you multiple free online sites in messages if you ask me I KNOW PLENTY. anyways, i think [last chance :D]....................................................................... this song is like how shinobu's passed, and giyuu's survived. and how shinobu is only living in giyuu's "dream state" / "fantasy", because he can only really see her while he's dreaming or when he's fantasizing about it, because in reality, shinobu kochou is dead. he stay's in reality, she doesn't.

back to that shinobu is dead, giyuu isn't, but this time it's like abt how giyuu and shinobu r constantly being silly and shinobu's constant teasing. and when giyuu sleeps, thats the only time they "make up" / stop always teasing each other. but yk, now shinobu's dead, and she only exists bebhind his eyelids, in his imagination, in his memories. he can only ever visit her when he sleeps or zones out. (rip)

the 20-20, 20-20 vision thing doesn't rlly scream shngy but i like to imagine it's like refrencing how they're hashira and have enhanced senses :3. anyways, "cupid hit me with precision" doesn't rlly exactly fit them and tbh feels more obamitsu but at the same time i can't hep but think shinobu is what brightens giyuu's life. her constant teasing and conversation keeping him sane through the hard line of work he has resigned himself to. like, ofc not love at first sight i'd fucking hate that cus they met when shinobu was around 14 and giyuu was 17 so EW NO, but i like ot tink when she was nearing 18 thats when the feelings started coming in and she js striked him, her —even though fake— but lovely smile.

now i didn't underline "i wonder if you look both ways" bcs it doesn't rlly scream anything but w "when you cross my mind" i like to think post final-battle giyuu always finds himself thinking abt shinobu. like, she always crosses his find, so much so it seems like she never like "is carefull abt it"??? like the song is like 'look both ways' is refrencing to how you look both ways before crossing a street and shinobu js DOESN'T and comes in a bothers giyuu even while dead ^w^.

now not gonna go too indepth bcs thisis js the same as before js different lyrics. "sick of chasing" for me is like how giyuu and shinobu never rlly tied anything. it's my ofc shipper hc they did have mutual feelings, but im being canon compliant and they js never were able to express those feelings to the other. and giyuu's sick of chasing this "maybe" romance. also bcs how from the mount natagumo arc, shinobu is faster and swifter than giyuu and he's always chasing after her ig :3.

those "you're the one that's always running through my daydream" and "i can only see your face when i close my eyes" is from like what i've said before, shinobu's dead but her presence still lives rent free in giyuu's mind.
