AN: What has nine letters and two amazing demigods? Yes, that. Enjoy, xx

Aaron and I are by the coast with our new recruits. We're were going to see how well they can harness their powers and how they would do in the battlefield. Aaron and I don't exactly understand what the girl's power is but we're hoping she's well suited for battle because she's got Einstein's IQ times a hundred. I feel Aaron come and stand behind me, as Percy and Annabeth get off the tank.

"Wow, I almost forgot what the ocean looked like," there's a twinge of sadness in Percy's voice. He told me when he was about twelve he was taken away from his mother because of something about his father. He had lived near Montauk where he constantly breathed the sea salted air. When they took him away, he was locked in a cell far away from any water. Annabeth walked over to his side and intertwined her fingers with his. He looked down and smiled at her with so much pride the lines around his eyes deepened.

"Jackson, show us what you've got.", Warner's voice is sharp and indifferent. He still hasn't gotten over my dancing with him at the capitol party. I softly jab my elbow into his ribs.

Percy either doesn't notice or doesn't care. "Sure thing, Sparky.", a stunned look spreads across Percy's face, "Sorry, I didn't mean to call you that. Dam, blondes,"

I'm pretty sure we weren't supposed to hear the last part. Percy just shook his head and let go of Annabeth's hand. He looked at the ocean with complete focus, then a large wave started to form. He turn to me with a large smile plastered across his face. I give him a thumbs up, and turn towards Aaron. His face is impassive, but his eyes are impressed. My grin grows knowing Aaron's impressed with Percy. I warm sense of pride shoots through my veins.

"Alright, Jackson I've seen enough.", Percy looks back and a sort of worried look fleets across his face. I looked up at the wave he created. The water looked like millions of diamonds reflecting the suns light.

"Yea, about that, see I haven't been able to do this locked up so I've haven't completely mastered it.", he shoots us all an apologetic smile. "The first few rows will get wet."

My eyes shoot towards Aaron, who at first looks confused, until realization comes a couple seconds too late. Percy suddenly drops his hands and every gallon of water slams back to it's original state, but not without thoroughly soaking all of us. Percy and Annabeth are laughing as the remainder of the water comes down. Aaron makes no comment, no remark, and just smiles, intertwining his fingers with mine.

After we return to the base, and we get ready for bed I recount the events of the day. Suddenly curious  I start to ask Aaron questions in bed.

"Aaron," I say as he runs his fingers through my hair, "Why didn't you get upset when Percy soaked us earlier?"

He turns me on my side to face him and says, "Because, love, I saw his eyes come to life once the ocean water hit him. It reminded me of how I first came to life the first night we were together. Just as I was kept from, you, my only source of light in this pitiful world, he was as well. I wasn't going to scold him for doing something that brings him to life. I've told you, love, I'm not so cruel."

I looked at his emerald eyes and they shone with sincerity.  I pushed my fingers through his feather like hair., and pressed a kiss to his lips.

"I love you, Aaron."
