When he left me out in the woods Lying on the ground Confused and alone You were there When the nightmares came Creeping into my mind Shattering any existence of reality You were there When the hole in my chest Wounded and punctured Growing with every thought of him Pained me and stopped my breath You were there to close the gap When the odd supernatural world Came back to threaten my existence You were there to protect me On those twilight nights When the days were just too cold The warmth from your skin Radiated through me Just like the sun All of the memories but..... It would never be enough Because it will always be him I will turn back to the one Who could suck the life out of me I'm so sorry You protected my heart But he stole it You were always there But he never left
