One day everything was perfect and in an instant it was gone. Then I saw her and knew what was wrong. The promises were covered with a band aid until you yanked it off to reveal the lies. One day you will see why. Why it hurts so much to be betrayed by someone who said they would never leave your side. One day you will see what it's like to lose a friend. One day you will realize how much I cared but didn't show it. Who would you choose? The one you love or the one who loves you? I didn't think it would end this way. So many decisions whirling like an ocean inside my mind. I could end it so easily by saying goodbye. Or hold on and endure the endless pain. I feel like the whole world is on my shoulders. Their peering eyes are judging my moves and there tongues speak irreverent opinions. My eyes leak with the tears of all our memories. Why haven't they run out by now? I wish I could mean it when I say goodbye. It all comes down to someday. Someday I'll stop leaking. Someday I'll get over it. Someday it will be the past. Someday you will regret everything. I hope. But that someday is not today.
